Greenhouse advice?

So I've spent some time looking at designs and pictures and I found this one in High-times Mag August 2012.

I'm leaning toward this design based on low estimated cost (Under $2000?) and height/capacity.

What other options have u guys seen or used that are reasonable affordable? The greenhouse kits I've researched are a bit pricy for the size. Hoop house's seem affordable but a lot of maintenance? Any advice is appreciated!

That seems like a great idea, he certainly makes it work! although it is shielded a bit by his house and surrounding housed etc. Looks like he takes it down in the winter as well? My location is a bit more exposed and I'm not sure how long this PVC structure would last in an open field.

look on ebay for 10 x 20x 7 greenhouses... there steel frame... fuck all that pvc shit that shit will blow away in the wind.... there like 200 bux a pop... grab like 6 of them!!!

Steel frame is the way to go if you are going to go tent. Make sure they connect with bolts and not plastic connectors like you see in some grow tents. That plastic connector stuff doesn't hold up too well under load. They'll bend, bow, and sometimes break.

forgot to add they also sell the doors for both ends to close it up. total cost for a 20' x 36' is $1530.56..... that's minus the ends and minus the thrip cloth

for about the cheapest greenhouse possible I used 4, 8 foot 2x4s from home depot and 2 8 foot 1 3/8 boards to connect the posts up top, a couple bags of concrete and (pretty thin) 1 mil painters drop cloth ( 4 bucks) . The posts are in old 8 inch pots I filled with concrete -semi permanent. I used old stakes inside to hold the roof up so the rain flowed off. I am still sore from screwing all the 2 1/2 inch screws but it works and it was cheap as possible. It has a 6x4 footprint and the ceilings almost 6 ft high. less than 50 bucks for the materials

Yep, theexpress. My hoop style pvc greenhouse blew away today. Hardly anything more than a nice breeze. Oh well, it was WAY to damn hot in there anyway and killed some of my plants.
