I planted a couple in the shade of an olive tree this year. and they seem to be doing well.

This greenhouse needs moved man, i think maybe move it to the bottom of garden by the fence,shaded, the photo i put up was facing west.
it would get sun in the morning and in the afternoon the sun will just b in the west and only b able to get through the roof.but i have mylar in there.do u rekon that could help my cause??otherwise its gone like.

My greenhouse faces Southwest but I had to put up the walls you see to keep heat out. So as long as your getting 6 hours of direct I'd say your good.

Yea i wonderd what your shutters were for,cool.
i honestly thought it would love sun all day but its too much im realising now.Nice 1 4 the advice.as i say in my photo what u rekon about the bottom of the garden it.the bottom of greenhouse is in shade,but it gets it morn/late afternoon.
.im getting it moved tomorrow now, i think itll help a lot

Its the (green coloured house) under the tree bud,lol.no 1 can see it were it is unless u come in the garden,the trees hide it from neigbours, but im gonna move it i think and sort the electrics this week.i thought about just cutting one side of it right out to try sort the temps/humidity i really didnt think id have these problems in cumbria im a bit gutted to be honest

The electronics cost a nickel or dime and for the harvest you would get it would take a few harvest to recoup the $.I would move it to where you get the best south west exposure and make the sides roll up and down let the breeze cool it,keep the top to keep the rain off. At the end of the season it's nice to have a bit of cover from the wind,cold & rain when your trying to finish

Yea were gonna move it today,so it gets more light through the top but not the sides at certain times of day.i hope taking it from the position its in and into the shade it will still work or as ive said previously when the beans fully pop ill pull them outside.still very unsure what to do,but its a lot of hassle keeping th e temps/humidity reasonable.gonna try get some pics up.

outdoir purple#1 and pineapple ex. Auto.on railway lines behind my uncles house had to jum over a 8 ft fence lol.fed em wid silica and guanaklong powder.7 auto mazar in greenhouse,its getting moved later.getting some nice weather at mo.makes a change.peace out

i got 6 out of 7 mazar,im suprised i got any with the shit wilkos soil and the temprature hmdyt jump.got some other gonna stat em inside from now on i rekon

Do u run the Fan 24/7 or just on high humidity days? How do u deal with high temps in greenhouse? My girlies started to look a bit limp just before harvest.
Soz for my questioning three years after ur post, but I did my first indoor last year; not only was humidity a problem, but high temps as well. On top of that I live on moorland, so I have moisture continually coming through the dirt, wich is of course worse when you stick a lid on it in form of a greenhouse...
Any advice appreciated...

The humidity 16x 26 light dep hoop house gets high when I close it up and it’s full of plants. I use two oscillating 12” fans and a dehumidifier hooked up to a hose to straight drain what it pulls out ( I think it’s a 70 quart) I can keep the humidity at 50% or lower!
