These guys make the best strains in my opinion. They have won a lot of cannabis cups and have been around since 85 I think.

I have watched a few of their grow videos on You tube. Almost every strain is grown at a ph of 5.5? And they only usually go up to around 1.8 EC for food. All of their plants look flawless and perfect for the most part.

It looks as if they are always growing in soil though? Am I wrong? I thought soil should be at 6.5 ph and I hear about people running way more nutes then that in flowering. . . . . . . .:bigjoint:

They said they grow in rockwool. I'm not sure about the EC, but I think you're way off=).... They are a good seed company with many interesting strains...

I don't know about greenhouse, the more I read the more I don't like their company. For example the new kush they have coming out doesn't resemble any of the other kushes around, the buds are not as dense and the leaves aren't nearly as wide. Franco basically admitted they named it a kush when it isn't.
Mr. Nice has been around for a hell of a lot longer then GHS, they helped it to form but split. Just because a company spends a ton of money on advertising doesn't make it the best around.

I agree actually. They are very commercialized and probably spend more time on their image then their strains. I am going to try a new seed bank. . . .

you can try sannieshop, they are reputable breeders and send a free ten pack with the order. I ordered herijuana which is going around the clubs in cali and am about to get lady cane, a cross between SSH and g-13 that finishes in 10 weeks. The seeds are all around 30 bucks and it costs a buck to send to the Netherlands.

I'm going to grow Dr Greenthumb's Endless Sky next. It finishes in 6 weeks, Yields 500 (g/m²), and is more potent then White Widow. Oooh yeah! I will check out Sannieshop though.

ive got greenhouse seeds himalaya gold and its wonderful! ive watched some of those videos too. if you dont think they go looking for prime seeds. watch the hour video they have of them voing around malawi looking for the best malawi gold sativa they could find to breed with some of their specials.

your right though they dont spend a lot of time breeding the seeds and getting the right phenotypes. they have to focus on their business. so what do they do? they give their prized seeds to hundreds of home growers/breeders. the breeders take those seeds and breed them to carry specific traits and then return them to greenhouse to perfect a little bit more.

so yea greenhouse has a business to focus on and its really hard for them to spend a lot of time dedicated to breeding the best genes. thats why they let us little guys selective breed the strongest choicest genes. they take them and perfect them in the lab and then sell the bitches.

Their business is supposed to be breeding seeds and refining the gene pool though. Their business is herb not making those dumb fucking strain hunter videos and coloring seeds, they just opened green house seeds company apartments as well. It seems like a big joke.

the one thing that got me with their strainhunters video is the fact that one of the guys says something like "it would be great if the african growers all used feminized seeds"

and i thought to myself, how would they make the next years crop if they used all fem seeds? no males to pollenate and create more seeds? are they supposed to keep mailordering greenhouse fem seeds every year? kind of funny to think of when you realize that their month's wages probably cost as much as a 10 pack of GHS seeds!

true. They also said they would take the seeds from the dudes in africa, breed them and sell the seeds back to them. Also they think these guys don't know how to do selective breeding, like they know something these guys don't. They are so full of themselves it makes me sick.

This hating on greenhouse is lame. May I remind you, they have won several Cannabis Cups!!! According to the look of their plants, they look like heavy hitters, both yield wise and potency wise.
