Greenpoint seeds anyone grow them

I’ve saw some older threads where some say they had good luck and others say not so much. I just ordered Black Glue, Old school Glue, and Diamond cookies from them. Some of the best I’ve grown was some Black Dom seeds a friend got from somewhere and of course gg is easy to grow… I also really enjoyed The White when I bought it at a dispensary. So I the Diamond cookies has Triangle for a parent (the white) and the 1st two have some Black Dom in them. I have gotten most of my good genetics as clones from friends I just kept cloning. I’ve tried seedsman and Herbies in the past and had gotten everything to grow, but nothing was as strong as I would like. And I’ve purchased a couple of times from ILGM , but the same strain from them would sometimes have saliva and sometimes indica leaves… different phenotypes. And the last seeds I got from them over 50 % failed to sprout. With everything else I have planted, I’ve never had 10% fail rate… I’ve only grown there stuff outdoor and it’s never been like my indoor clone grows. Maybe that is not a fair comparison.
A friend likes Crop King and I almost picked some up from them. Most of my friends have stoppped growing any indoor grows and just do an outdoor crop as there is no market for excess crop in Michigan… I would like to do a few plants indoors again this winter. I will try the Greenpoint genetics. I am debating if I should just try two seeds of each and getting a clone or some seeds from someone else… Or popping 4 of each and seeing how they do. Does anyone get consistent fire genetics from someone? Or and good clone breaders in MI. I do have one friend still growing, and I’ve gotten some good clones from him before too. I’ve also gotten some stuff from him that I wasn’t happy with. He is always bug and pest free, but he doesn’t smoke so some of the strains he grows grow well etc… but he doesn’t know what he is growing and some of it just doesn’t have a very good buzz… I will give my feedback on Greenpoint when I know more… has anyone had a hood or bad experience with them? Or a great experience from someone else?

I'm about half way through flower on my first run with Greenpoint seeds. Out of 5 plants, 3 different strains, two of the plants have put out pollen sacks so far. It's apparently an issue with some of their fem seeds.

They have some decent stuff in their fem line from time to time, and at reasonable prices. The GG4 S1's and Dubstep come to mind. Their reg stardawg line is going to be more stable, though many say they lost their stud male that put them on the map.

Herbies: Personally, I've had great experiences with Herbies. They've consistently provided quality seeds.

Seedsman: It's a mixed bag, but you've had success before. They offer a wide variety of strains.

ILGM: Mixed experiences, with inconsistencies in strains and germination rates.

Crop King: Your friend recommends them, and they have a good reputation for customer service.

Greenpoint Genetics: You're trying them out, and they have loyal fans who praise their genetics.

Ultimately, finding a reliable source often involves trial and error

I found some decent plants from GP Seeds. But I did find it seemed like a lot of the crosses were untested or barely tested. Essentially the purchaser was the tester. The price used to reflect that and like I said I had some good ones. But too much variation and inconsistencies drove me away from GPS.

Thank you for the replies, I received a notice that my beans shipped today. It sounds like they may have inconsistent genetics, but I should get all of the seeds and they should mostly germinate. I talked with a friend who quit growing and asked if he would mind doing a test grow. I will pop 4 of each seed when they come in and take some clones once they get big enough. Then have my friend grow them out and see which are worth recloning and which ones should get culled… Hopefully I get a keeper or two. And I do plan on reporting my results. Did those of you who for a banana or two trim the nanners and keep growing? Or bin them?

I had 1 Sticky Icky and 1 Purple Aliens put out pollen sacks so far. The SI just had a handful of spots where a few popped up, so I plucked them off and haven't seen any new ones since. The PA has been consistently putting out a few sacks every few days. I just pluck them off as I see them and keep on going. Gonna have seedy bud, which blows, but they're growing well otherwise so no real point in culling.

The older gear from Greenpoint used to appeal to me, but now all their stuff is just a bunch of Cookies crosses like everyone else. I missed my chance to mess with their old Stardawg crosses, which all my reading pointed to being their best stuff. Dunno about this new dessert weed they have.

I've had success with many of the old greenpoint stardog crosses I tried. The purple punch fems have had some good turnouts as well, cant speak for their newer lines though. Like what was mentioned above, the prices are great as long as you understand that much of the new-new is not yet thoroughly test-runned, and that YOU essentially are the tester.

I've had a lot from them... but only the Wild West series. I think I literally bought almost every Stardawg cross they offered in like, 2017 I want to say, during one of their Halloween sales, which used to be something like 65-80% off or something like that. The original Copper Chem was cool, it seemed to change the colors of the world into neon, for me at least. The smell was also pure Chemical, which I'm that kind of guy, that loves chemical smelling and tasting weed. Not sweet, or citrus, not gas, but chemical. The Barnburner was dope AF. That thing had the perfect blend of Chem and Gas, with a great functional, yet dreamy high. I found myself helping some lady with groceries one time high on it, and just started loading stuff, then took the cart back, and started helping everybody in the parking lot as if I worked for the grocery chain I was shopping at, before realizing, and saying, "wait, what am I doing?". A perfectly balanced, space case weed. I could smoke that every day for the rest of my life, if I'm being totally honest. Afternoon being the preferred time of indulgence. It wasn't the best of the best by any means, and I'd still want some other varieties, but it's one I would add into grows every season if it was consistent and always cheap. It was a good weed. The Sitting Bull, which was Glass Slipper (The White x C99?) x Stardawg, produced great, had purple coloring, but only seemed to drain my energy. I like a pure Indica, and may actually think of a quality Indica as more connoisseur grade than the most incredible Sativa, (though less potent, for sure), but this thing was just an energy drainer... no euphoria, no real high, no nothing... that one sucked. Point is, some are good, some are bad... for the price, really can't complain. Think of it as buying some flower seeds from the dollar store. Some will give you great flowers, some will be cheap junk, but it doesn't hurt to add a couple into whatever rotation you got going.

ran a bunch (10+, x2 or x3 seeds if regular) in the last 9 months, and I will not do so again...at least when it comes to their AC/PP/SD crosses.

by far the most "odorless" weed I've ever grown, and I don't care if it's "pretty in the bag".

Curiosity got the best of me and I picked up two packs of the ZDawg and a pack of the cowboy cookie. Reverse auction so for the price I paid im willing to gamble with one tent and hope for something worth saying "check this shit out" lol

I had that exact experience with ILGM. 20 seeds of GDP and 10 of white widow and I'm right at 50% to harvest.
I'm closer to 90% with greenpoint.
I'm wondering how those greenpoint seeds worked out for you.
I've gotten several strains from them and the reverse auction prices are hard to beat.
The weed...not so hard to beat.

So I only bought a pack of sundae batter is I paid 15 for 6 seeds just actually got them today I got 7 seeds so 1 bonus lol but won't be popping them as I got my !ax amount going and still got 3 to 4 weeks on the 2 flowering so I can start 2 of them. I love the sundae driver strain and if you get the right mixture from the 2 smokes I like most I might find a gem but they are just pollen chuckers it sounds like and they get lucky from time to time

Running some 2017-2018 packs of GPS for seed runs. Basically all for the fun now and just to use the older packs up before they are inviable.

Butch Cassidy
Dreamcatcher
Sky Dweller
Jelly Pie

Jelly Pie was by far the happiest of the old seeds in germinating and also now in veg (~50% germination rate)
All others were had poor germination rates <20%

These were not stored in a good location for this time period. And admittedly we're not the best at germination/seedlings.

These are all regular seeds. And purchased for maybe $15 a pack at most.
