another friend loaned me some blurple lights to run for the time being until I get my hps fixed! and also have someone else come look at the wiring in hopes to figure out what's wrong, this time I'll be hooking up a cheap lamp or some shit, not testing it with my dam hps! lesson learned!

You can get one of those plug in electric thingamabobers that indicates if the wiring is correct at the hardware store. That would be the first thing i would check and of course shut the breakers off till you find the problem. There are some knowledgeable people here hopefully someone can identify the problem. Wish i could help more but i am NOT allowed to play with electricity.

I've got a buddy working with me right now, but so far everything seems to wired right, idk but I'll let u know!
 
well I'm almost finished with the new set up, it's been a long road but still got some organizing to do, got about 10 clones that Still need to be planted, have to rebuild the ballast in a few days when the ignitor gets here, running 2 led and a 100w hps, on the gg4 sip until I get my 1k hps fixed, the 5x5 is full of girls, the gg4 is taking up half the 4x8, still need a new light for the other side of it! veg is OK also started 11 more Sunday driver x stardawg, gotta finish out the beans! and everything else is falling into place! hopefully I can relax before Christmas! but all is going... well not smooth but it's going lol
 
also I topped off the sip today, still haven't done anything else but plain bubbled water and em1! still going strong and healthy! (oh yeah I did foliar with epsom, it needed it) but other than that! I haven't done anything to soil, and havent done any kind of feeding at all!
 
for those still following through all my drama! the second ballast is fixed, changed out the ignitor and it worked perfectly, also both 20 amp, dedicated breakers are working smoothly no issues since we changed out the plugs, and made sure everything was tightened, and secure! super happy and thankfull!

finishing all flower room touch ups and sealing windows today! plan to start flower for both tents within 24hrs! maybe less! gunna take yall some nice pics of how massive the gg is getting! and Ill show off my set up and veg, I'm super proud of this expansion!

wanna give big thank you for the help with expanding and getting some things I couldn't afford! (like an extra ballast, some smaller stuff like a speed fan controller, and a few other things!) it wouldn't be possible without the help from a good friend I've met over this site! I won't put him on blast but thank you blue! lol thanks a lot buddy! bit very soon I'll post pics of the finished product and what I'm working with!!!!

and once again thanks to all of r.i.u. I'd have been lost without the amazing help I consistently received from some great guys on here! you all know who you are!

the girl does look a tad rough, but it's bc I was a Lil rough trying to even it out and center the gg in the new scrog, but she's very healthy!

Here's the lights I've been using the last few days, while I've fixed my hps, 2 led full spectrums, and 100w hps! They seemed to have kept her happy over the last few days... more pics coming very very soon!

as for what I've done to the sip, I opened up the trash bag (actually ripped it off) and I noticed that my soil had settled ALOT, and i had almost 6 in space in the top, so I topped her with fresh cooked soil, very light layer of bu's compost and then some grokashi! then sealed it back up!

I know when I started this, the main goal was the least amount of maintenance, I feel once I have this dialed in there should be no reason I can't run an entire cycle and never touch the soil even once!!!

pictured below is the main stem from the biggest plant I've personally ever grown! I'm 100% indoors, and I know this isn't impressive to some of yall! but the point of this pic, is to show yall the biggest girl I've ever grown, and the fact that the gg hasn't even started flower yet, and still the stems are about the exact same size,CM181226-055053003.jpg
 
also I'm looking for opinions on when to switch to 12/12, I don't want to over grow her, my goal is to have about 10-14 inch colas in at least 90% of my Scrog holes! but I have to watch my height. that's my main concern! can't have it growing into the hps like last time!

I have approximately 30 inches from the top of Scrog net to the bottom of the hps, I know that's cutting it close, I can maybe steal about 6 inches by using different hooks to hold the hps (would be absolute max height!) but I do realize if I grow 10in colas that only leaves me 20 inches from the top bud to the bottom of 1k hps, please take that into consideration!

I know you both have grown her out, do you guys have an opinion on when to flip 12/12, according to this "crazy stretch" lol thanks guys!

here was Josey whales advise! really can't think of anyone better to ask, than the guy who found the dam thing lol! lol found him on ig and figured who better to ask!! he's actually very nice, and seems to be be good ppl!

here's the thing about the glue, at least in my experience with it... you're not going to get giant colas off it. you may get a few decent ones, but it's not like growing a nice indica that gets multiple 10-14 gram colas with little effort. you're gonna get a lot of golf ball or slightly larger, hard, dense, tric covered nugs. honestly my favorite buds are the ones just below the big colas. low amount of stem material, and you get to roll one whole nug into a fat doobie.
