well not sure what grinder you use, but unless my green is bone dry, any and all of my grinders (from wooden with pins, space case-esque, simple acrylic, they all put the green under an awwwwwwwwful lot of pressure, certainly doesn't "slice" it, more like destroys it into thousands of piecesi prefer grinder. its faster, at dont smash ur weed. when ur doing ir by hand you put pressure it the bud to split it up(poping the thc trichs) rather the grind slices it up fast and swift... yup grinder..
