i done that but the weed when i take it out is now dry / crumbly to the touch.
Then you shouldn't HAVE to grind it.
If it's already that dry, just use the vacuum food sealer bags.
P.S. Got a picture of that airtight ornament you mentioned?

Kinda weird since if you cured it correctly and it stays in a sealed jar it should not dry out past the original cure unless your leaving it out of the jar for extended times??? You take what you need to roll put the rest back in the jar sealed and back to a dark place should never really dry. If its crumbly just add the end of a loaf of bread to the jar and close. Check it every half hour the moisture in the bread will revive the bud but dont forget to check as overnight the buds can go soft again.

Ok on the other issue ground up or whole its the exact same dryness either way. If it is cured and in the jar then it should not be crumbly dry unless you over dried it as when it goes for the cure it will not be crumbly just dry and firm....

The more surface area you have exposed to the air, the faster it will degrade. Same reason fresh ground coffee always tastes better than pre-ground coffee.
