Hey all. I have a Gro-lux f18w/gro T8 two foot fluoro. I was just wondering if it is better used for vegetation or flowering? Thanks in advance

thats probably good for cloning, but not vegging, and def not flowering. you need more watts fro vegging.

if you had another 1 or 2 then you could veg with em. Keep it right above the plants.

Yer i have 2 of them. cheers for the advice. Another thing, i have 2 two foot fluoros that are 6500k over my vegetative plants. if i got another ballast would it be better having 1 grolux and 1 6500k on each ballast? Thank you again for any additional comments

You just need the cool white and warm whit bulbs. 6500k is the cool white i believe. put a 3500k warm white or plant flower bulb in the other side. don't believe you need another balast. as long as its a flourescent bulb the type the lamp takes your fine with swapping and missmatching bulb colors.
