hello everyone im planning to grow outdoors next spring just wondering will it be better to grow them in pots or dig a hole in the ground and fill it with good soil... any one have any experience with both of these?
they do grow good in the ground but depends where you are, pots would be easier because you can move them if there is an emergency or someone has found ur crop also if you spot isnt getting good enough sunlight you can move them where the light it better but if your not worried about anyone finding your plants and have a choice spot id say put them in the ground, seeing as this is there natural place to growThe potted seem to need more water/attention. The plants in ground grow well.
that 2nd pic is gorgeous.I asked this same question last June. I had some plants growing in a greenhouse in 3gal pots. After I moved them into the ground they doubled in size. Put them in the ground. Leave at least 4' between each plant. I used some soil I got at Home DePot. Outdoor plants get BIG.
