Hey bro it would probably be better to wait until you get the FF soil...when I talk about doing stuff I have the advantage of being around my grows 24/7...never gone for more then a couple hours so if I have a problem I'm on top of it quick...IMHO tho you can use MG successfully...I can show you grows on RIU where ppl use MG and LED's and produce better results then most ppl do with HPS and the WHOLE Fox Farm line up

Just went and got 2 bags of MG super bloom and 1 bag of perlite enough to fill up 2 3gal pots which is all i have i cant imagine why a bigger pot would hurt lol

Just mixed my soil and perlite up its 16quarts of soil to 8quarts of perlite looks better than before :) seeds havent popped yet but im gonna go ahead and fill my pots up and rinse all or as much of the nutes in this MG out for tomorrow when they should be popped :) its crazy how quick a dream can come true or start to at least when you actually give it your all :)

Just finished the last touches . Put a heater/fan that cuts off once it reaches its set temp and cuts back on when it drops 2 degrees below the ser temp :) so now even with lights off it will ALWAYS be 76-78 degrees :) ... On another note holy fuck does this soil drain good ! If i did what i did to this soil to the shit without perlite i wouldve flooded my sink EASY lol .

So its REALLY cramped in my tent with 2 3gal pots my heater/fan and my 3 sets of Y splitters ... So my question is would it be better to just go with one auto instead of two ? I feel like the light isnt going to hit them both fully one of them is gonna be pushed a little crooked, maybe im just paranoid but heres a pic of what it will look like tomorrow when my beans pop :)

Growing 2 and having some small parts that aren't in the best light is better than growing 1 and having unused space.

Just imo of course.
I have vertical space for days and once my plants get higher than the Y-splitters then ill have pretty good width for them to fill up . Hopefully the 150 plus the 120 cfl watts is enough for 2 autos

If you have a proper footprint the 150w HPS alone would be enough. Your 150w puts out about 20,000-24,000 lumens. 10,000 per foot is basically ideal. You wouldn't have any problems with just the 150w and not even worrying with the CFLs if you kept an even canopy for even coverage.

Not saying extra light is bad, you just asked if it was enough.

Okay cool preciate it bro i kept feeling like the 150hps alone wouldnt be enough for 2 autos . Since i dont need the cfls and they take up hella space ima go ahead and take them out and maybe hang them near harvest to fatten them up some more .

You might still use a couple for the seedlings and turn off your HPS to save some electricity. Seedling really don't need much more than 13-26w for the first couple days, and too much can actually hurt them until they harden off and toughen up a little.

I think im just gonna go with the hps at 10in above them so theres no way they can get burnt . Hopefully my beans will be popped tomorrow and the journey can begin lol .
