Grow bags?

Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster here. I can't find what I'm looking for so figured I'd start a thread.

Are grow bags like the ones on ebay reusable and are they good for indoor growing? I currently have 9 rather small pots vegging under a 600 watt mh in a 4x4 grow tent and they're going to need transplanting soon. I'm thinking of trying 3 gallon bags and only growing 4 plants per closet while flowering.

Any experiences with grow bags are welcome!

Thanks

you have a link for the ones that you're looking at m8??

i just went and bought 8 of the 3 gallon smart pot grow bags yesterday from my local hydro store for a change of pace.. i would think they would be reusable, the only thing my guy told me was to make sure i had some saucers under them as water runs right through them..
i haven't transplanted my babies into them as of yet, so sorry that's all the info i have for you thus far... :)

They're pretty cheap but shipping isn't the best, i'll probably work out a combined shipping deal on about 10, maybe 20 if you guys think they're decent. I'm excited to get these growing girls in bigger pots/bags.

Nice, I have some 5 gallon plastic bags and I don't like them much. They work, but not as well as I hoped. I got what I paid for I guess. I think I might purchase some from that link also. Thanks.

Yeah I switched up to smart pots awhile back, and love them. Just remember when using smart pots (the felt ones) it is really hard to transplant out of them. So go straight to your final size pot. The plastic ones I would think would be easier to transplant from, but I have never used them so no idea.

smart pots also help keep plants from getting rootbound by supplying oxygen to the root zone. they work well indoors and out.

Smart pots are awesome! I use 7gal and put some hydroton in the saucer. Until now I have been putting clones in 1gal plastic pots, then transplanting to 7gal smartpot. I'm now trying a new method - I cut the stitch in the side of a 1gal smartpot and opened it up all the way to the bottom, then tied a string around it and put a sour cream from DNA in there. When it's time to moe ill just cut the string and peel the sides away. :hump:

have 3g smartpots, geopots, and plastic grow bags. plastic sucks, i just dont like how long they seem to retain moisture. I prefer the geopot bags over the smartpots, no particular reason, they just "feel" better. I looked into getting 5g pots, but they are not any taller, just fatter around.
Next im goin to get airpots, i think they will perform better than the felt pots.

The pots are working out great guys. I thought I had mold growing on the outside of them but it turned out to be mineral buildup. It's great that that old junk has an easier way of getting out of the soil.
