Okay so let me preface that I'm transitioning from nutrient growing to organic growing. I have just had issues with nutrients inconsistencies in my plants and also don't like the thought of pumping my soil full of salts and killing all the beneficial life in them.
I recently bought the 3CF Coots premade mix from Build A Soil and I'm thinking about changing my grow tent from fabric pots to a grow bed. When I'm not growing I can just have straw and cover crops. I just don't have time right now to be growing all weeks of the year since I'm starting school again soon. I tried finding info for how a living soil fabric bed would work in a grow tent and can't find that many specifics since its obviously not the most space efficient method. I'm looking to get a grassroots bed and just wondering if people have had any experience with them. Does it sound like a good idea or should I just stick to the fabric pots?
I currently have a 4x4 mars hydro tent with a TSW-2000. Might change to a 3x3 just to save space but not sure yet. I'm going to be moving into a new apt and I just want to change things up to make everything more streamlined since I don't think mixing a bunch of soil in my living room is going to be the best thing to do.
Anyways, let me know what you think
