grow box heated up to 104F for aprx 6hours with exaust fan off

hey you guys, got a dilemma. I currently have two strains going right now with about 4-5 weeks left in flower. one day i turned off my exaust so i could do some maintenence to my grow box. I finished what i was doing and shut the cabinet back up with out turning the exaust back on, on accident. I closed it up, and left them to their rest period. I slept longer then i had in while, 9-10 hours passed, and I wake up, and realize I had been asleep for a long time, and the lights were on in my box now, and had been for a long time....so I open it to check on them like I USUALLY do every few hours, and to my horror, I opened my box, and there was the saddest sight I have ever laid eyes on. droopy, scorched, toasted.'

I almost cried...

( I wish I had pics so you guys could see but I don't)

that was about 10 days ago.
Now they look worse, because pretty much all the leaves have fallen off one, and the other is just about half scorched, but doing pretty okay in comparison, but still sad looking, the scorched half of it looks like its been manicured already on the plant. it is so sad.

these two are just some bagseeds I got lucky on...
so heres the thing,
I got some really good autos I am ready to fire up, and I am really close to the end of these first two's cycle...
can I expect them to pick up and do anything in four more weeks being so damaged? I mean, way I envision it, just about the time they are ready to bounce back, I will be chopping em down.
will they bounce back or should i just start flushing early and start working on my next endeavor?
it is my understanding that they need their leaves for photosynthesis, so without the majority of the leaves, is it going to do anything at all? it hasn't done much other then drop leaves lately.

thanks you guys, and sorry so long

maybe I should had posted this in the noob section? that's the feeling I am getting here. I just have never accidently let my plants get this hot, for that amount of time....
so its been about 2 weeks aprx, and it has dropped most of its leafs.
I am just wanting to know if it can bounce back in its final 4 weeks of flower? or should I just expect it to be pretty much it? I really haven't seen any new growth, other then a few little pistils coming back. I backed the lights off them, and slowed their nutes. any advice would be much appreciated

it does seem like the worst part is over, I noticed most the leaves that are left look like they will make it. they are all really small tho. all fan leaves are wiped out.

I sympathize with you, once they go flat saggy/droopy, they usually shed the sunleaves. And the pistils that shrivel tend to produce a smaller calyx, That sucks that it was during the flowering time. A crappy lesson learned. I like to have my light cycle at night to keep my temps down, but i'm in CA (legal grow) on a secured property with no neighbors and two large dogs.
I'd keep the lights on a normal schedule, also a good thorough misting of the plant is the fastest way to get water to them/counter high heat stress. I'm not sure if you did that first.

Let go on for a bit. What's the worst that can happen? I recon forget about the expected finish date, and just judge it day by day.when they seem to have had enough, chop em. This is just my opinion, but I think it's worth giving them a chance at this stage.

hey, so yr saying I can just let them go passed their finish date and it wont matter? what happens if you let a plant just grow, and grow and grow, and you never harvested it, would it just keep growing larger buds? there has to be a time where growth stops! I know this falls into a noob question as well, but I have wondered that many times.

yeah, sorry if I was being vague. There is definately a cut off point, but yours may have shifted a bit one way or another. Just try and read yhe plants as bext you can. I've got a badly nute burned cheese at the moment, I have 2 others to use as a guide, but that one I'll harvest earlier or later more than likely. The goalposts have moved for her, will have to do my best to judge it.

no, you wernt being vauge, I was just taking my question one more step...I knew you meant let them finish, I just was curious as to what would happen if you just kept a plant around, say for like a decoration, and just let it continue to exist, what would it do>? just keep growing? that's what I meant....no, your advice was good, and it is what I chose to do as well.

I dunno, now you mention it. I suspect it would just die at the end of the flowering cycle. Of course, if you did want one for decoration if you kept a light on it to keep it in veg state, it would never flower and never die, within reason of course.

hey you guys, I got a camera so I could show you where my poor little babies are at, as of last night.
as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.....in this case, most those words are four lettered, and start with an F!!! pretty much all leaves have left the plant. Its been sad days around here! lol, I just cant wait to start seeing some improvement. it has done nothing but disappoint me lately! I feel so bad for it! I WILL be switching out to something (anything) other then CFL's

takes a looooong time to die (like two to three months after flowering ended), especially if they are inside.....they kinda go in a stasis type of stage, I was bored a couple years ago and experimented a little. The only plants I saw actually die somewhat quickly after flowering ended were outside and got rained on, so i'm fairly certain the MOLD had a lot to do with their demise. The inside ones just get all fuzzy with brown crystals...

Nice thick branches, what strain is that?
hey, its a strain called big bubba, I got a clone from a friend of mine, its a local strain too, I have looked up info on it, and can find nothing. its inica dom, and man its a badass, the littler one behind it is from the same guy, called jack of spades, and that one has been nothing but trouble, but as you see, they are now both in a world of hurt. I hope now that the shedding is done, the remaining leaves will fill out, and it'll just go an extra couple weeks to make up for lost time....
