Greetings people
I am just starting my summer '09 grow, and I know this one will turn out great. It will be my third garden and now that I have some experience under my belt I ordered some new toys and some new beans.
I also should have my new grow tent setup and 2 400watt ballasts up and running. A single HPS and a single MH. I will be using all foxfarms nutes and the ocean forest soil mix I purchased from my local hydro store. This one should be interesting.
I couldn't have done it without sites like this and Breedbay, which I feel is more of a home to me.
So a couple days ago, I got the tent I ordered online. The tent they were supposed to send was a 9'w x 4'd x 8'h, instead they goofed and sent a 9 x 9 x 8. Called the retailer and they told me it was a mistake and offered to pay me to ship it back in exchange for the proper size. I couldn't see myself packing it back up, so I'm just going to keep it. The additional 400w ballast arrived as well. I'm running a 400MH and a 400HPS, thought I'd try to get the best of both worlds, lol.
I've got seedlings all TGA/Subcool Seeds strains, 2 Space Queen, 2 Agent Orange, 2 Space Dawg, a Jillybean, all germinated with a 100% success rate!
I've got 4 Bodhi Purple Moonshine (sr71 purple kush x Blue Moonshine), and 2 afgooey x bubba kush x sour diesel ibl (is there a name for this cross?) in the little humidity dome, and 2 of the Purple Moonshine started pokin their little heads outta the jiffycubes they're in today. I'm not sure how long I'm going to keep in veg before the switch to 12/12, probably about 30 days or so. Got all these beans from bidzbay, where every day is a dank day! Bodhi's crosses are highly regarded and rare, the Purple Moonshine 10 pack cost me about $140 at auction. I was very lucky to get my hands on them.
The beans I ordered from attitude, Strawberry Blue, and Colombian Gold (both are from the breeder World of Seeds) have not arrived yet. I'm anticipating them any day now.

!! Nice work, sounds extremely delicious, like you'll be having phenomenal smoke and be in winter ice trichome land when your done
