Grow/harvest in 12-13 weeks?

I am going to have a house to myself for 12 to 13 weeks. I am planning on growing 2 plants hydroponically. I'm thinking of starting them with a couple CFL's each during veg. and then adding in a 150 W HPS sun system for flowering. Is it possible to harvest in this amount of time? Any tips on reaching higher yields? Would it be worth it to buy a 250 W instead ($200 vs. $100)?

12 weeks should be plenty of time to go from bean to harvest.. and yes, i would recomend going with the 250 over the 150, this would help speed things up a little, not to mention increase your yields...
say you veg for three to four weeks, that would leave you with either eight or nine weeks to flower.. make sure to pick a nice mostly indica strain that finishes quickly and you should have no problems finishing it up within that time limit...

More than enough time just be sure to grow indicas as sativas take anywhere from 10-15 weeks to finish flowering.
