grow in wooden closet outside

hey i want to start a grow closet made of wood outside by my garage. its cold outside but if i just have a little intake hole do you think i can grow in this environment? also waht are the basics that i need for a 4x2 grow closet.

How cold is it where you are at? You really dont want your root zone getting below 55-60 degrees.

it is about 40f. but i can make a small box on the side to hold a space heater and thermostat, will that be enough with the cold intake air coming in. plan to just make 2 little intake holes with screen on it

How tall is the closet?

This will limit the type of light you can install, at a guess you probably dont want anything bigger than a 400w HPS, maybe a 250w depending on the cupboard.
