Whats the story RIU stoners 
This is my journal for my first ever grow with cannabis seeds. I have lurked this community for a while just getting a basic idea of how I could succeed in growing my own. I finally decided that an AeroGarden is the most likely method for me actually do so.
So anyway I received my AeroGarden without the seed kit to which I was devastated! I ordered it however and while waiting for it I decided to use a pod that was straw like and came with some giftshop chilli grow kit. I placed one of the 6 White Dwarf seeds straight into it and into the AG. It germinated and started to grow. However it sprouted upside down. I also put 2 seeds in a bowl using the paper towel method to germinate for a few days. Once my master gardener kit came I took all seeds out of their original home and placed them root down into 3 sponges (poked bigger hole through the sponge to allow quicker breakthrough of root to water. I am using the liquid nutrients that came with the seed kit and they're on a 20/4 light cycle.

Number 1 shows good growth yes? Picture 4 is of the roots which I think are coming along nicely however you might notice a bit of brownish stuff latched onto them. Is this normal?
The 2nd photo shows some of the crap that fell off the original straw pod I shoved in. Half of it just fell in and floated around. Will this effect my babies? Should I clean the reservoir and if so how do you suggest so?
Last question which I really want to know. Its been a week and the water level has barely gone down 1cm. Should I add the nutrients every week in spite of me not having to change the water?
