Grow Journal: my second ever grow, just into bud.

Here are some pics of my two plants if you're interested. I'll keep updating with new photos every couple of weeks or whatever. Please let me know if you have any advice to give me. I'm growing these under a 150 watt HPS lamp with a 12/12 cycle, with Fox Farm soil and Miracle Grow fertilizer. The fertilizer I use about once a week. The plants are so far about five feet tall each.

With that tall of plants you need better lights.but they do look good.....rep..

It's hard to tell whether it's just the strain that makes the difference though. Mine are both a couple inches over five feet. How tall are yours?

At any rate, this grow is just for personal consumption, I'm not gonna sell, and I'd like to keep it at a manageable size. I've only got a closet space to grow in. If they grew any taller, they'd be too close to the lights :/

Well, here's for anyone who cares - bud porn! I've already smoked a lot of it (microwave, shame on me), so here's what's left - part of each main cola from my two plants. Enjoy.

Sorry, I can't give the weight yet, because they're not fully dry. Speaking of that, for some reason one of the colas is drier than the other, even though I remember cutting them down simultaneously. Perhaps one of the plants was dehydrated, or maybe it has something to do with the fact that they're two different strains...I'm not sure.

Get away from the Miracle Grow... it's too much for the plants. pH your water to 6.3 to 6.7. Fox Farms soil will carry you for a week or two but you really need to look at their Nute Schedule. Start out with Grow Big, then Big Bloom, then Tiger Bloom... You can buy these in steps.

Why not just use very small amounts of MG? It's the same thing, isn't it? As long as you flush your plants, I don't see the problem... To be honest, I don't care about spending a gajillion dollars just to maximize my yield, completely and absolutely.
