Chances are you'll need a fan (OR TWO) anyway for airflow so if you get an LED light without one it's OK

I have 2 HLG 5000k 135 V1's in my 2x4 veg tent. I bought them when they were on sale for like $115 a piece. They rock. I have the Rspec's in my flower closet.

Are you talking about the green one in the tent? If so, ya you put a carbon filter on it, but I don't use them. That is my exhaust fan though. It's a 4" Active Air one. None of my lights have fans though.

According to this article, LED Watts are different in efficiency compared to other lights. This means that you can get away with lower wattage.

2′ x 2′: 128 watts
3′ x 3′: 288 watts
4′ x 4′: 512 watts
5′ x 5′: 800 watts
6′ x 6′: 1152 watts

i think to start is not bad, i started with blurple but now i kind of wish i saved that money and bought better ones. these arent bad maybe for seedling or veg, but if you really want to stack some buds better light like a quantum board or bar full spectrum is the way to go. u can buy a t5 for seedling and veg for pretty reasonable prices. then just save up and get a better flower light. u will still grow buds with that one but in the long run pay more now and enjoy the smoke later on.

You want at least 240w of quality white LED’s for a 2x4. Avoid the old blurples.
A 4-pack of these QB 120’s and 2x of these XLG-150-24 drivers would do great in a 2x4 and would be a bit over $200.

Do you have a plan for them to be watered/fed while you are away too?
So Pad, do you have a supply air fan that supplies fresh air to the tent or just a filtered “vent/ opening “ in the side of the tent

I have an intake fan with a dust shroom on it. But you can do passive intake too.
