grow light question ?

my grow tent is 80x80x120cm whitch is 10 sqearemetres iv got a cheap led in there it gets down 2 10 degrees celcius soon to be 0c at night the tent came with a 600 watt hps but it was summer plus i dropped it so i got led i want 2 get a aircooled hood and hps mh but i dont no how 2 choose the right one can some one help me out please

Idk might get another led light an just get a heat mat ?

Give me an idea of your budget, so I can make a few suggestions.

i got it with the tent it came with the shitiest wing reflecter coodent put it 2 gether i think somthing was missing it got 2 like 38 40 degrees celcius in the summer so i figured led but now its the beggining of winter its cold as fuck down 2 5 now that iv given it some thought around 400 but do u think if i got anouther led light and had them on at night and maybe a heat pad u rekon that would get temps up enough im hoping i dont have 2 get a hid becuse of electricity bill but im goung 2 work it out how much iv got a magnetic ballest but if i do get hid id like 2 get one with one of those newer ones with an aircooled hood but id prob have 2 get another fan idk ill work out how mutch ittle cost 2 run

okay found a energy bill calc onlygunna ad about 35 dollers a month gues 8m getting a hid

I grow in the uk, which gets cold as fuck in winter - so I use the winged/Dutch barn reflectors in winter to keep the temps up.
& Viper LED's in summer

I'd avoid the cheap LED's - you get what you pay for.

I'm planing on upgrading from HID's/LED's to cobs this month & actually plan on spending several thousand.
But cobs are genuinely, the way to go in terms of efficiency & cost.

Why don't you look at something like a HID cool tube - keeping in mind you've already got the ballest.
Or check out a few cob lights - or making your own if you don't mind soldering.

iv never soldered before but i have no problems learning if ittl endup beuing worth it in the longrun i gues it coodent hurt 2 look into

There's loads of threads on this forum about building cobs & loads using them.
I've never heard anything bad about cobs, that's why I'm switching myself.
You could get literally everything from eBay auctions, if your not in a rush.

YouTube has a few videos on them too - well worth a look if even for the information.

I take it your light is your main concern, followed by heat & efficiency?

ye fuck it i dont nothing bout the things in vovlved but im posative if i read my ass of ill get 2 where ill need 2 be plus im sure some some one here will help me out if i need it shit maybe i could hooke it up2 some soler panels

Absolutely, there's guys here that know practically everything about cobs & would help you every step of the way.
Search it out & you'll see what I mean.

You'll willingness to try/learn is a major benefit & other growers will recognise that so you'll find you'll probably get more help imo.

To be honest, I'm not particularly tech savvy so I wouldn't be able to answer that positivly, but I'm sure you could rig it up to solar panels as long as your not running a large light. (Your tent isn't large so should be fine)
I guess it would depend on the amperage & wattage your generating.

But, in saying all that - there are other options if cobs don't suit your requirements.

Do a little research into them & take it from there.
