Grow Myths Exposed..

Though it would be cool to have a thread that exposes all those BS myths,stories and flat out BS that have been floating around concerning growing MJ.. If you have any post em here and maybe we can stop the madness..

I think a few good ones are..

"Emergency blankets make good grow cab lining"
"Soaking a plants roots in food coloring will give you colored buds"
"Small pots make small buds"

1. Emergency blankets are dssigned to keep HEAT IN.. So TBJ they are not good for lining a grow cab with.. Just buy a 5.00 can of white paint.
2. Roots filter out all the coloring before it even gets into the plant
3. I have seen huge ass plants grown in small pots that gave huge buds. You need to water more ofter and flush like every week or so, but it can be done failrly easily.

There are tons and tons more but I have to make some lunch.. Ill post some more later.. Come on guys and post those growing myths!!

isnt a camping blanket just mylar, painted orange on one side?

emergency blankets do make great lineing just not when you have huge lights pumping out heat for cfl there great

I heard my favorite grow myth the first time about 15 years ago. I've heard it a few more times, over the years, on the net, but I usually say nothing and just grin to myself. It's alot like listening to someone talk about Santa, I just grin and keep my mouth shut.
