Grow 'potpouri', comments welcome

Trying something today. I thought I had given up with pH down, because when I measured run off, and this was like 3 months ago, of pH6 water in it came out pH7. So I said I'm wasting my time pH downing because it's buffering back to 7. Now's week 7 and some plants have more yellow leaves than others. Excluding sativas in this comment. But anyhow, I don't know what I'll be able to tell if anything from doing this but I'm back to pH downing for now. I don't get much runoff and I don't know if I'll bother measuring that again.

Then left bottom halfs another week or so and chopped. So now only later bloomer Sativas growing and a few seed plants to finish.



Wish I could take better pics. An Ethiop and (Ethiop x Candida) are rear right. Ethiop is hard to grow but if Sativa what's needed then it's time not wasted. Did I say Ethiop is hard? Can I say it again? Plant looks like shit but buds are still forming and not so bad.

Meanwhile slow curing Candida starting to smell like honey. Blueberry smells stronger and a little like blueberries but not exactly, like some say. Yet I couldn't say what else it smells like, maybe pot.

Too much to pretrim. Bot half Candida in foreground and Entire CanxAfxDida hangin to bottom. Cool bubblegum sweetness coming off that one.

Started curing what's been picked so far. Original stuff like Blueberry smells better than my CanAfDida cross. Maybe it will mellow out but it doesn't smell good any more like it did around week5 when it smelled sweet like bubblegum. I want that bubblegum smell back. But after a couple of these strains it seems like smell is not a CBD plant strong point. Meanwhile the Ethiopian doesn't smell at all. Smells nice like a live plant, I don't know if that's what they mean by earthy, but there's nothing else there. Probably a good stealth plant. Not much stick there though, but the buds are finally showing signs of thickening. Ethiopian x Candida is sticky and kinda smelly, and I think ready to pick. Smell is meh. Candida doesn't seem to make nice smelling crosses. Alone it has a sort of honey or honeysuckle smell that's ok. But crossed it gets a little putrid.

Edit: Candida x Ethiopian picked today and it smells really nice now. Here it is pre-trimmed before hanging

Will probably be 2 oz.

Ran a Beam's test on 4 of the just dried strains plus Afghan which I know has no CBD.

I could not get a picture that shows what it truly looks like. I ordered them from clearest to yellowest from left to right. But all you can see in the picture is that the one on the left is different from the other 4. As expected that's Afghan and it confirmed it had no CBD. The 4 have CBD and It's just my guestimate, but I believe the order of increasing CBD is Blue Dream CBD, Blueberry, Candida and my Canafdida cross. So two surprises, one being the Blueberry > Blue Dream CBD, and two Canafdida > Candida.

Smells changing with curing. Wild Thai has a pickle juice smell. Ethiopian has changed from earthy to that strange smell of banana peanut candy or in other words imitation banana. Maui Waui is not as much like fruit punch as when fresh and not bad but a bit duller. Canafdida is maturing to the parmesan smell of the Afgan but is still pretty funky yucky. Only Tried so far Ethiop x Candida which is quite weak but not necessarily bad, and Blue Dream CBD which I did a smoke report on here https://www.rollitup.org/t/blue-dream-cbd-from-humboldt.974091/ I prefer edible one way or another but smoked my little toothpick jays for initial testing .
Like the name I thing BDCBD may be good for sleeping

Almost forgot, I tried blueberry a while back which is real nice and mellow though pretty strong.
