Grow Room Help!

So I basically have everything bought and its all ready to go and hooked up etc except the ventilation and for the floor. Now this is where I need help. So I have to use 4in ducting because of space issues and I didn't realized this until after I bought 2 6in inline fans, 6in filter,6in hood. I went to homedepot and was going to buy some reducers and flexpipe but the 6 to 4in reducer would not fit into the 4in flexpipe. But when I picked up a connector with crimped ends on it it slipped in perfectly into the pipe then fit onto the reducer perfectly. Now my problem with this is that ill need a connector and reducer for every single 6in flange and connectors and reducers are 8.50$ ea that means basically 20$ each 6 in flange and I got 2 flanges on each side of the fans and 2 on the reflector and one for the filter. That's 7 total reducers 7 connectors that's basically 120-140$ plus flexpipe, and clamps. That's like 200$ just for a small ass grow closet. Is there any cheaper way to get my setup to work? How do I connect a 4in duct to a 4 in reducer without that connector? My 2nd question is for the floor. If I used a pond liner as my flooring would I need to keep my plants off the ground or would I Still need a table or something. Ill be scrogging. Thanks for the future help! :bigjoint:

Being a contractor , but also a grower. Cheap is never the way to go on a grow. However I have done it when money was tight etc. You could use small piece of aluminum capping even a few properly cut soda cans or vent pipe round and clamp. Together with aluminum tape or duct tape. Would it be.pretty no but could work

It might be cheaper to just buy new fans. Why would you need a table?
well it would cost me x2 more to buy new fans and ducting and I was told to keep my plants off the ground from many experienced growers. they told me to keep my plants off the cold ground and to have hole/something in my tablel tray for my runoff water from my pots to go

I'm not wanting to be dirt cheap on my ventilation because I spent a lot of money for the best of the best equipment. But I find 140$ in reducers etc is a fucking outrage for a 5x3 room

But it would save you the price of all the reducers you were complaining about and match your hoods. 4 inch duct is dirt cheap. I thought you were growing indoors. What "cold ground" are you talking about? Besides, pot grows in the "cold ground" in normal conditions (outside) anyway. If you need height for drainage, that's different. I just put those saucer things under each pot, when I grew in dirt.
