grow room near school laws in Oregon

I live real close to A highschool and want to start a grow room. My wife has her medical card. I do not take any Medication. I am in a high profile job and want to stay completly anonomuos and do not want to visit any distributers. I have come around and seen the help it gives my wife and figure having me be her provider would be the safest most reliable option for both of us. Is it legal to grow for her being that iam so close to school property? What other options are there to staying completly anonomous and yet still being able to have my wife get medication?

You will want to double check any laws known or pending regarding this. Possession charges are one thing, but cultivation, possession and they tend to throw as many charges as they can legal or not.
They only allow alcohol, prescription opiates and other narcotics within school zones. Nobody has ever had thier house raided for those items living right next door to a school. Go figure. In Colorado our state constitution added Amendment #20 back in 2000 and now it's all been over-run and controlled by the LEO's and Politicians. Don Henley said it best- "Call some place paradise, kiss it goodbye..."

in that case I would recommend finding a reliable and descreet delivery boy. be ready to pay a premium. about 5-25 bucks more per 8th.

Code 4, you should be safe. As long as you are not distributing, this is just considered medicine for your wife. I am an Oregon grower, and live near a school, and have no problems. And I, too, am discrete.

The law really comes down hard when you are producing drugs like meth, or selling or producing illegal marijuana. As a medical grower, no one will even visit you as long as you follow the law and keep your nose clean.

thanks i dont live right across the street from a school but its property butts up to mine. I will check into more laws i suppose i would be able to find out when i go to put down the grow location address on my provider card correct? As far as paying a delivery boy out of the quistion for me. That only adds another person who i dont want knowing. Your allowed 6 plants and only so much dried medicane at one time. I know any outdoor grower goes way over the amount on a few plants. I think indoor would be closer to the amount of bud allowed by laws plus it would be much more discreet.

one was not possible b/c of your wife's condition, the other one you didn't even want to hear about for some reason or another....

you know it's in the delivery boys interest to keep you in the clear legally and at your job so he creates demand for himself.....


growing weed next to a school isn't a good idea. it's exactly the type of grow LEO likes.

small time grower, no violent history, steady job, chances of a violent encounter almost zero, and right next to a school....

if you dont want to bother with a medical dealer, buy some auto flower strains and you will be toking ing 2 months instead of 4 or 5 months. You should be legit to grow near a school, though if your wife is medical. if the police come over about 2 or 3 months from now because they claim to smell you plants from the street or from the school property---just provide your medical paperwork and ask them to come back with a warrent. by the time they come back you will have enough time to make sure your plants are within the limits (no more than 1 foot in lenght or width and without flowers for 18 immature plants and 6 mature plants) and make sure you have no scales around!!!!!! police may use your scales and try to associate it with dealing weight. if you have any questions, contact a good pot lawyer in portland for a free consultation and ask him if you are within the law. best of luck, buddy!
