okay so im almost done drywalling my room so im asking for all suggestions ill be running 5 600w hps (if u dunt think i sud then tell me but im trying to stay within 3000watts on the lights) i want to have CO2 a proper venting system i have alrdy got a computer based monitoring system rdy to go oh yeah i have around 160 sqfeet of space. so what im asking is if this was you how would you set it up frm a to z and i only want to grow organic!!!! no chem shit!! so im asking what kinda lights i sud use? if they sud be air cooled? what brands are good? what kind of fan and venting system ?what kind of soil what kind of organics ? how i sud setup the co2? basically EVERYTHING! thanks it wud help alot!

Fox farm is a good organic nute to use.
If you're getting 6 500W HPS then you've obviously got some money to spend.
Sorry I can't provide much advice, but I'll be sure to keep an eye on this thread.
This is what I can say:
You'll probably want a small section for vegging (unless you want to flower straight from seeds each time, which would be expensive given the cost of seeds). If you want to flower from an early start you could just keep your mother plant in the veg section (sealed off from the light of the flowering section) and flower from the clones.
With all that lighting you'll definately need some good venting (undoubtably with a carbon filter because of smell) to keep the hot air out. 3000W of HPS is going to get hot.
With such a big set up you may want to get a CO2 generator.
I assume you want to grow in organic soil? It is possible to do an organic hydro grow.
I assume you'll be having a lot of plants flowering at one point (commercial output) so you may want an automated watering system, unless you plan on spending a lot of time in there.
No one can give you an A-Z set up without knowing the area you will be in. Have you seen "I Grow Chronic"? If not watch it on youtube. You'll only need to watch the first parts if you want to grow in soil.

i am planning out a extreme grow, that i am on the fence about 1000w vs 600w as well. i mean i am going to have the best of the best in light, but if i can do the same thing with a light mover and less wattage then why not save energy!!!? i mean i can have 6 1000 watt bulbs which are less efficient than 600's or so i am told... or almost half of the wattage and be able to get a light mover and get the lights VERY close to the plants with the good ventilation i have planned.
i mean 6000 vs 3600 is going to make a huge impact on the power bill... and i doubt it will make that big of a difference if setup correctly with a nice lightmover...
just my 2 cents
edit: i currently have a 1000w switchable [HPS] ballast because it is perfect for my growcloset size and the ballast was a steal on craigslist.

ive read that having several 600w is more efficient than running a couple 1000w, say you have five 600w hps (90,000 lumens each), thats 450,000 lumens out of those 3,000 watts. if you have three 1,000w bulbs (140,000 lumens each), thats 420,000 lumens out of the 3,000w. . thats 30,000 lumens youre missing out on. . i wouldnt know from experience becuase ive only used 400w. . they seem so week after doing those calculations. . so are you leaning towards an organic hydro setup, or soil?
