also can you use the same ph up and ph down kits such as the general hydro brand for soil and hydro?

I'm confused. Your images are showing two very different setups, neither of which are optimal in terms of inline fan and carbon filter placement. Can you clarify your plans for us a little more?

Both images are close to what you want but each one has one component in the wrong spot. The idea is to pull air through the carbon filter first, then through the light (nice choice of hood by the way), and then through the fan to the final exhaust point. (Carbon Filter > Light > Fan)

i have updated the design to include your changes. Does this look ok? also i will be using this secret jardin growhut in the attic. is it ok to exhaust the fan out of the box into the attic room while having the intake be coming from the same room but opposite side of the tent?

this way works if your light does not have airleaks. You should try to get your exhaust close to one of your attic vents(within an inch or so) you can just ziptie the pipe up close to your vent or hang it with a wire and most of your hot air will go out the vent and the vent will still work for the attic as well.

i am using the easycool 6 hood. do you think it will have any airleaks?
Never saw a hood that doesnt leak. :) :)

There's reflective hood covers available that go over the reflector, that's probably a great idea for you. Helps with temps and air leaks. Most hydro stores I've been to wont stock em, but they do order them or order online.

so without the reflective hood cover how would you change my setup to optimal conditions?
use the hood, just don't pull through it.

#1 you don't want an intake fan into the tent. You want to pull air from the tent and push air through the light. You should have the intake fan taking outside air into the hood and then vent that out of the tent without going through the filter. This way if your fan pushes too hard the worse case scenario is that a little extra fresh air will get into your grow room and that is NBD. If your hood isn't air tight it now doesn't matter. Then use your exhaust fan to pull air through the carbon filter and out of the tent. Only use a passive intake for the tent.
