Grow room to cold

I always run 35k-45k lux from germ. This "seedlings intensity" is all a load of shit and just leads to stunted and stretched plants. For example, these are 23 and 20 days old, were birthed at 650umol/s and are now at 800umol/s. I start around 35-40dli for seedlings and move to 50 in veg. It helps with winter temps too..

Here's a bunch of seedlings at between day 4 to 7 at 750umol/s now.

I've never had a single plant object, and everytime I've went to the "required amount for seedlings" I've ended up with far less growth.

I think everyone blows "seedlings requirements" well out of proportion.

I've put every seedling I've ever ran under 200w worth of quantum board from birth at roughly 24" full pelt, or close too with zero issues.
I turn mine at 100% 30 inches distance and I have 30k lux (thats what my phone app says)

You always want some air movement on the leaves. Not direct hard air movement but they should be rustling. This helps stem strength along with helping to prevent mold issues especially with high humidity.

As far as temp goes with LED, stalled growth can occur with lower Temps especially. Ime plants grow best under LED when the temp is a bit higher 76 to even 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The key is to keep in a good vpd around .9 to 1 Kpa. So your humidity would need to raise with higher Temps as well.

None of this is necessary but it does help. HID lights lower Temps because of difference in IR and LST.
With seedlings be careful not to overwater either. They require very little water and in a bigger pot very much just right around the seedling. A shot glass of water or so every 2 days

Is it all right the have the exhaust fan of if the temperature is low?
For now it is.

Once they are bigger and transpiring a lot then you might have to have it on periodically.

You should test your light and temps at full power so you know where your at.

I am in a similar scenario and I just invested in a cheap 500w oil filled radiator and run it at around 50%. It heats my 4x4x5 to about 28℃. I did have one of those tube heaters and it didn't really do a lot.
i get about about 2 c more , i turn my lights a 100% and i have 24 \25 c . will see if i dont kill them :wall:

will see if they start growing now
They should. These were grown over winter, and at the time of the picture had never seen anything over 25c. Ambients were 10-20c in the room, and in the tent it was 14-24c on average. I just couldn't be bothered running heaters. I'm in uni accom, and already trying to explain my electricity usage lol. These were at 5 or 6 weeks from germ. They were popped in late June which is dead winter here. Yours were a bit colder to start, but 24c should work from here on. I didnt use the exhaust much until I hit flower due to heat issues. It was nice and dry so I didn't run into any humidity issues.

I have two Androids of the same model but they give different readings!

I use "PPF Meter" app. It can display the model number of the light sensor and my two phone's have different sensors.

It all depends on wattage. I use a crock-pot on an Inkbird temp controller, it was free. :p
