Just put a 600w HPS in my grow room and it has sent the temperature over 110 degress. I have an extractor and a fan in the room but has anyone any bright ideas to cool the room down.

Yep, time to go air-cooled. If you're air-cooled already, that's going to be tough to get the temp to drop almost 30*. You'd have to add a/c, too, most likely.

One tip,...make sure your drawing hot air from near the ceiling, before exhausting it. Seems simple, but alot of people overlook that. :)

Good advice.

With a temp as high as 110, it sounds to me like your grow room isn't in a good space. I mean, if you've already tried some cooling options and they aren't working, chances are good you need to start rethinking your setup.

To me, my vote would be to use AC since this is a really hot room and it sounds like it will be difficult to control with anything else.

Ducts and vents are necessary, but AC in a pinch.:joint:

Are you able to leave the door open? And im being dead serious. I have a very simple 4x4x6 room setup with a 1000w hps, Because of the heat I leave my grow room door wide open when lights come on.I also keep a standing fan in my room blowing on my light.I grow monsters too, people will say all my light would escape but thats b.s / these are pics of my chocolate rain I harvested 13 days ago.
