Got a plant that is about 6 weeks old. I was gone for a week, and as it would happen, that's just when the heater in the room failed and the temperature was at about 50-55° for 5 days. Otherwise everything was functioning, primarily, the light was on for 18 hours, and the waterer was running.
The strange thing is, now that the temp is back to normal, the plant has grown only nominally and appears to be flowering. I've monitored it for the week that I've been back, and have a time laps camera on it, so i can clearly see the slight growth, and compare to the more robust growth in the weeks before.
So I guess the questions are: Can the cold cause it to go into flowering? I'm relatively new, and only knew of the change in the light timing would trigger flowering.
If so, should I just let it go and change the timing of the light at this point so that it will flower 100%.
Any suggestions are MUCH appreciated!
