Grow room with 150hps

Hey I'm thinking about buying this:

With a 150hps

Will this do for two plants? just for a small personal grow (me me me me). Height is an issue I have about 5.5feet to play with height wise, this tent seems to be about the right width for 2 plants, i'm hoping a 150 will cut it has anyone else had good success with a couple of plants and a 150?

Yea, that should be fine. Just make sure you can ventilate it properly.

The REAL TOP !
After a 600w HPS = the mini TOP !
If you can work with 600w = DO IT !!!!!!

After changing the house: it is not possible for me !


Since 1 year I am with one 250w HPS + one 150W HPS ... 2 little Box !

I work only 4 plants with 150w HPS, no more. . . Sativa or Indica = IDEM !!!
No Cool Tube or large vent ... just 3 small aeration PC.... No more !!!

The plants are 10cm from the lamp.
No problem ...

You can get pretty BUD with 150w HPS ! Not as big as with 250w but pretty...

I personally would always recomend a stronger light, but I have used a 150w in the past and it worked fine. I Wouldnt recomend going for more then 2 plants.

thanks guys. i havn't set anything up yet. although I had a dream that I was... in my tent heeheee and my light bulb exploded!!

could be a sign?

anyway I was thinking that 250w might be a bit better. i'm hoping I don't notice more than say another 10/15 bucks on my elec each month. 1 250w isn't going to raise any alarms is it ? i'm hoping my carbon filter gets rid of all the smell! it best do! also I am thinking about growing that caramel strain. I want feminised seeds. bloody expensive though!!

it is true that 150w is small. Limit ...
if you can get a 250w HPS: much better !
With 250w I work only 2 or 3 plants.
But BUD are bigger.
With 600w I had no extractor vents but 7 little-aeration of PC (consomation = 1Watt per Ventilator !) and 1 glass (2mm) between the lamp and plants = it's very important !
With 1200w HPS: Yes ! 1 RVK Extractor ...
LOGIK !

(If you choose the minimum. take a 250w HPS ? if you can choose the maximum. take a 600w HPS ?

250w HPS at home is a good plan
600w is better. LOGIK but 250w is much better than 150w.
150w is a bit small ! Bud smaller !

But buying a quality bulb !!!
The ballast = least important.
but the bulb is important with small wattage...
