grow store thread

Places like Superior Growers Supply will show you the door if you talk mj, at least thats the vibe I get there, even though most of my gear came from there before I found the Grow Show. Stay away from them, is MY experience, since finding greener pastures:leaf:.

You have to kind of get to know them first but I remember when I was first starting out and was shopping at the Livonia store and a majority of the people working had cards. I think once they see your face a few times and have a conversation for a while they get better about it. I've been to the other Lansing location on the dead end road too and that was my favorite while I lived in EL. Now that I moved out of the area I havnt been there in a few months though. So I've been going to Hydro Harry's in Walled Lake.

I like Ultra Green Hydroponics in Redford, big store, good prices and they give you a discount if you have your card. They have a second store in Westland that is equally good.

Hydromaster on Groesbeck just south of 16 Mile. The guy in there is Angelo. I've saved a lot of money there and they have a lot of merchandise as far as stock goes. They got everything for coco that I've needed. I'd rather go there than HTG down the street.

nevermind, found'em. between 8 and 9 on harper. white building. used to be play it again sports. gonna have to stop in there and check'em out thanks growery i pass there quite a bit but just never noticed it.

I have been in there. Good store as well. Plus the cultivation station over at little Mack and Harper. That's when I get my Canna nutes from. Some of their stuff is priced high but the guys there are very helpful if you're a cardholder. Plus u get a discount too.

SGS, like so many here, have been in the game much longer than MMMP. Consider the scrutiny experienced by these grow shops prior to MMMP when they were few and far between ...

As much as I would like to support local hydro
stores all of their prices suck when compared
to online places such as Plant Lighting Hydroponics,
Ebay, and a few other discounted places.

I realize that. I mean, I started growing in 1996, while going to State. I learned from their gear, because there wasn't much of a choice back then. But even today, they refuse to openly discuss mmj, and you have to have some special store card to get the discount, instead the of the caregiver card we all have. I did feel bad watching their Howell store crash and burn so fast. I don't think they made it more than a year in that location. I felt paranoid going to that place, in that sketchy town, obviously others did too, like the Brighton hydro store that failed so quick.

We go to Happy Harvesters in Burton. They also have ones in Ortonville and Waterford.

Got a xxxl magnum, 1000 hps super hortilux bulb, lumatek ballast, hangers for 480$.
Or you could get the magnetic ballast for 420$

Bump for mammoth, still no luck finding nematodes or colloidal silver locally.
Really , a customer oriented store could order this for you with no questions.. I would tell the store you frequent most to order it with a please and thankyou.. If they want you to return they will have it ordered before you leave with a total price after discounting the MSRP

Corso I found colloidal silver. Best grow store I have found so far is in fucking Green Bay. Illegal state, best store. WTF.
http://www.amazon.com/Tiresias-Mist-1-Fl-Oz/dp/B008OAI6OA/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1364474177&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=tyresia+mist
They had this for $20. I will grab it next time I'm through there or Tricyn9ne can pick one up. Or you can order it from Amazon it's a few bucks cheaper.
The store owner actually knows how to grow also. Anyway he says one small bottle like that is good for a few branches or something, not an entire plant.
He said one customer bought it and said it didn't work. They read the directions and he realized he did it wrong, bought another and said it works great following the directions.

It is convenient and it works even though its pricey . The Nematodes and Predator mites can be shipped to any store or home for $ 10-20 .. I have Hypoaspis miles that I can mail for free once it warms up ..
