grow tent advise

I was wondering if I could put my 400 watt how in my 2x2 tent. If I found a way to put my fan and filter in there it could possibly get rid of the heat. What do you guys think?

I had a 400w cmh in a 2x4x5 so its probably not too much worse than you and i had a 600w runnin in the same room. Just get a cooltube or ac hood with one fan pullin air into it and another pushin out. Never really had to fight too hard.

yeah, I have a 600 in a 2x3x5. I usually keep it dimmed at 450 (But it can handle the 600 if i turn the fans up).

I have a cool tube and inline fan for the light (Air outside tent -> cooltube -> back outside tent)

Second fan pulls air out of the top of the tent and pushes it through a carbon filter. I allow air to come in at the bottom of the tent passively (Will get pulled in based on negative pressure created by you carbon filter/fan setup. I like to be able to control this fans speed.

The problem I'm running into is space for everything in there cause I have to use insulated duct cause of noise I wanted to put everything fan filter on the floor and run duct to the top of the tent and out side but heat rises it might be worthless to do that pulse as the plant grows it will be cramped.

If you went that route, would only need one fan for the whole tent. Can you vent into an attic? I have my fans in the attack which keeps the noise at a minimum and heat down.

I wish I could but I live in a apartment
Apartments are hard to grow in because you got so many people up your ass. Not really, but you know what I mean.

Honestly, if I was in your situation, I would get a 6 inch inline fan and filter with a speed controller, just dial the fan down to medium or low and it will be nearly silent. Your best bet also, is to use led lights. Shell out the cash for quality efficient led lamps. It may be expensive at first, but if the going price for a ounce so 250, let's say you spend 2k for startup you will need to grow 8 ounces to pay back yourself. That's two grows at the most.. Some people get that in one grow. So just remember whatever you put in, instead of buying weed it will be saving u that. Once your done with saving the startup costs then it's pure profit..
