Hi Guys, New here! Just bought a tent and we framed in a "grow room" in the basement. 600 watt dimable ballast, air flow hood, and a 6.5' x 6.5' x 6.5' tent (78" x 78" x 78") , 424 cfm fan and a carbon scrubber filter. Grow to start soon, glad I found your site!

Hey everyone! i am also a newby, and i want to get a 4x4 grow tent. Im on a low-ish budget, but i want something that will last me at least a while. I plan on putting a 600w light in it. i was looking at the DR120, but im not sure, i just dont have a ton of cash if a $100 from amazon or something will work for me just as well... Suggestions? Words of wisdom? Thanks very much in advance!

this is my first indoor grow, 400 mh/hps tent like 3.5x3.5x7 working on proper ventilation now. heres some pics.

Thats big enough for 6-8 plants..

I got this same tent its more like 4x4x7...I was planning on adding 2 400 watt hps with cool tubes in it..

damn i just have the one 400, it stays around 81. i guess the cool tube makes a huge difference though, yeah thanks for the correction, dont know why i said 3 1/2.

Once i saw the big g in the front i said thats the same one i have..lol..The cooltube is a big difference with just my one 400 and a duct booster fan inside temps do not go over 78..Im sure another one in a stronger exhaust and ill be fine with temps.

what size fan are you using? and wheredja get it? i need one bad, cheapest i can find is the htg 6 in high velocity fan. 100.00 bucks!!

That is about as cheap as you can get them....HTG 424 cfm in line fan is on ebay for 97 and change with free shipping.

yeah thats what im thinking, im just afraid it wont be enough to pull out these 85 temps.

Get it!!! I got that same one from a shop but the guy matched the ebay price of 99 bucks because i told him if he didn;t i would go home and buy it on ebay..lol but yeah i have a secret jardin tent 5x5x6.5 and i use that HTG 454 fan and even ducted it to my veg tent which is 2.2x4x7 and it pulls all my air just fine.. i could even put it on a variable speed control and still be fine if it was turned down a bit.... i also use a 4" inline 185cfm strictly for my air cooled hood in my flower tent so it stays nice and cool... it is a good fan though i would recommend it. You are only at around 115sqf and 454cfm would exchange the air quickly... that and an aircooled hood will help you get the temps down...
