I saw your posts but, being new and needing all the advice I can get, I didn't feel that I am qualified to answer.

Your plants look great compared to mine.

Cheers,

hey guys in gezon's tent wouldn't it be better to run a metal hylide instead of a sodium vapor for veg and then put the sodium vapor for bloom

Congats on your new purchase and a fine looking grow
Thanks alot, theyre like a week in to flowering so im really excited to see the outcome,
when i set up my tent it was in a basement that was like 6'8" so it was super tight like i couldnt flip it, and i accidentally slipped the tent part on upside down. this was the saddest moment ive had in a long time, it took forever to take it off and put it on again by my lonesome lmao

hey, just to anyone growing on the floor of a grow tent- think about all of that reflective space on your ceiling and the side walls above your light. you should keep your lights near the ceiling, and instead of adjusting your lights, elevate and lower the floor(as they grow). there is usually around half of the sq. ft. of the tent size above your lights, that is empty, just swallowing up potentially reflected light. buy a table or two. buy a white banquet table, or paint it white. also, drill some holes in it for airflow....a lot of them, like one every two inches....i found some wal-mart brand tables at....wal-mart (weird, i know) that were about the best size and durability i could find for the price $30 for a 2x4 table, so i bought two to elevate my (4x4) grow floor almost 3 feet higher...awesome. pure bouncing light....i would post pics, but my camera just ate it a few days ago....

tried to find a link to the tables at wal-mart, but i couldnt (they work great, they have three adjustable height settings, 30in., 24in., and 16 in. ...by the way, wal-mart sucks, dont shop there, unless you need random grow room supplies that you cant find anywhere else. the tables even have pockets (or pilot holes) in the bottom of the tables, to tell you where you can drill for airflow...they work like a charm.

my tent is a 4x4x6.5 growlab, i run two 400w ballasts, one HPS, one switchable. besides picking up one more light, the tables are the best investment ive made toward improvement lately....try it out.

I bet that was a tight fit.
I'm vertically challenged and had to break the first rule. When I was putting my tent together, I found I was having trouble doing it by myself (bad legs). So, I had to call a friend of 40+ years over to help. oops :)

A year or so ago, I rebuilt the frame for my 5x5x7 1kW out of 3/4" aluminum (3/8" thick), and it can pretty much hold up a car right now. Check it out:

It holds up a Magnum XXXL 6" reflector, 6" vortex (hidden behind light), 4" can fan, and a CAN 9000 filter.

I also plan on hanging an A/C from it eventually..

Looks good...you are pulling the tent air into the carbon filter, thru the light hood and out of the tent (with the inline fan sucking at the caboose)...seems right as I have been told!

My god, man. Could you possibly type in a more irritating-to-read way?

But, lol, I'm surprised you have clearance up there. I thought about doing that on one of my setups but I had only enough room for the fan and no ductwork. There shouldn't be any problems with setting it up like that on it's side, as long as the ductwork has enough clearance to not get kinked.
