Yeaaaa....alot of people I ask they say the best way is to go from clone, but due to my area it's not possible. :(....I originally wanted to grow pure indica strains....(DRGT BuBBa Kush and Dutch Passion Blue Moonsine)mite end up going with some autoflower strains because I wanted to grow 12 plants.....any suggestion?

you can grow some good shit in a tent, on my 3rd grow atm i'll post some pics when i can. not gonna bother reading the last 18 pages but i'll follow from here on out, what have i missed?:weed:
 
hey guys got a question i have a 4x4x7 tent that I plan use as a mother/grow tent. Do you think I can output enough clones to keep a 8 - 10 x 4 x 7 foot flowering tent permanently full.

easily, once you let them get ahold you will find yourself having to thin the mothers out inbetween crops so they don't completely fill that tent

I will do that. I was thinking of using it as fill light to supplement my 400w HPS/MH. I am going to grow 4 Super Lemon Haze after my 4 Sweet Tooth are finished.
 
Thought I'd share a recent pic. This is about 10 days into 12/12 in a 4x4 Jardin with a 600w HPS plus bulb. Waterfarms are the grow style of choice here and the technique is scrogging.

There are just 2 plants under the 4x4 scrog. The one on the left is about 3 weeks behind the one on the right. I plan to let the left side flower a bit longer than the right side. I have a Kandy Kush starting up in the nursery, and from there, it will be a perpetual grow. I plan on harvesting a side, and then rotating in a waterfarm with a new plant that's already 4-5 weeks old.

Ok newbie question here but what exactly is scrooge, and the net looking thing over your plants...I have tried to look but must have not looked had enough. I just don't understand what the purposes? please enlighten.
 
SCROG means 'Screen of Green', a take off of 'Sea of Green'. A netting or screen is used to control the plant's height. When a branch grows through the screen by a few inches, it is redirected under the screen, forcing it to grow horizontal. By doing this, the plant releases auxin which makes the nodes branch out, creating more potential colas. When we are ready to flower, we change the cycle, finish training and allow the tops to grow through the screen so they can begin to flower. The technique increases yields and maximizes light efficiency.

Ahh I see now, appreciate the help. Does this method work best for horizontal lights or can it be used as well with vertical?
 
Scrog can be done with a vertical light. You would build a cylinder type screen that went around the light and you would work the screen from the back side. The colas would grow toward the center I would think.

That does sound pretty cool, is there a special screen you should use ove the plants? Andwhe. And when do you put the screen on, veg or flower?

I am not familiar with auot-flower strains. I have heard they produce less and have a shorter flower time though.

Yes , I draw air from outside the tent, so you don't get the "sucked in paper bag effect"
 
Oh I meant from outside or in the room? Cause I was from in the room but it wasn't cutting it. Had to suck cool air in from outside. I hooked everything up yesterday and ran it for an hour. Temps got down to 76 degrees by sucking the 40 degree cold from outside. So I'm thinking I still might have to run her at night.
