Grow Tent Club

Just got hooked up with some green LEDs to put up on the ceiling. .65w /ft, and put up 36ft. So about 24w total.

Now I can work during lights off without disturbing my plants. :)

Thanks. I love it. It reminds me of Method Man's grow in "how high.". I wired up the Green LEDs to the light switch next to the door.

Such a simple, effective, legit way to work at night!

Deeeeeum Ivory! For sure setup. Hahaha making my young dreams come true.

Thanks. :)

I'm going to get another 8 strips of 6ft rope.. put 4 along the vertical bars on each tent. I probably wont use the green lights in the veg tent very much because the light cycle is between 18/6 and 20/4. But I think 24ft inside the flower tent will be great for watering/pulling leaves/training the plants during lights off.

My lights run at night, and this will help me not wait & stay up all night to do work in my room :). Not to mention, more power efficient and cooler than the 100w of CFL in my ceiling fan. With all the LEDs set up on the ceiling and in both tents, (84 ft length) it will only be pulling 55w.

Finally, LEDs are useful in horticulture!

Very nice on led ropes. I used some bull party green cfl in past and learned that they still leak out light the hard way. I have since been stayin away from grow during dark to not fuck shit up even duct taping up any light producing electronics like a tweaker.
And love the sig....But FIRE sauce is the best.

Dr. Octopus is that you?

Why the hell are you in your room with the lights out? I am going to invent a Pest Control product and when you open the box a little flag pops out and says "Stay The Hell Out of Your Tent During Lights Out!!!"

because depending on ones schedule they may not be able to work in the grow room when the lights are on.

Yeah I work during the day. So when I have something in the room to install or tinker with I don't particularly like staying up all night as to no inturrupt the photo period. I need my sleep.

These are true green LEDs, so they only produce green light. We all know plants are green, which means they reflect green light rather than absorbing it. So true green light is OK to use during lights off, because it's invisible to plants. This is why horticultural LEDs are made up of RED and BLUE LEDs, and the HID bulbs we buy are either more red(flower), or more blue(veg).

Also all my RO stuff is in the room so when I have to come grab equipment I just use the green lights now. Also draws less power and heat than CFLs. :)

Hit me up for your rope if you do. I can hook you up.

I call my room the "green room" now. :) Rather than the "grow room". It sounds better with the former, if anyone overhears my conversation. :)

My favorite picture is the one with the mirror. And the ballast cords running against the ceiling :)

Looks like either a space ship, or a VIP room. I'm not sure.

It definitely looks better in person than in pictures. I had to mess with exposure times until I got the true green that I was actually seeing.
