I am going to be a first time grower and I have a basic design idea for a grow tent that i would like some input on. Any help would be much appreciated although i am still on the design step and it will be a little while until the final product is in working order. The tent for the whole set up is a closet organizer that is 36" wide x 20" deep x 78.75" high.
There is a left side to it that is 4 separate compartments from top to bottom that are about 12" wide x 20" deep x 19" high. With this side i would like to have two different mother plants in two different compartments and one compartment for clones and the final compartment to hold my supplies (soil, ph-, pots that kind of thing).
On the right side to this thing there are two compartments one on the top on on the bottom for placing clothes on hangers so ill use the hanger bars to hang my lights. Those compartments are 24" wide x 20" deep x 39" high. i would like these rooms to be my budding rooms. I was thinking about getting a hps/mh ballast sett-up so that i can put the clones in this room when they have a good rooting system and continue to grow them with the mh and set up a scrog in each of the right rooms. Then when there ready switch them to budding. I'm not wanting to do anything huge just some 175mh and 150hps.
My question is do you think these rooms will be enough room for what i'm wanting to do? Any help will be much appreciated. I will give rep to those who help.
