I'm sure you could take your shopping list to eBay and search the individual items and save a few hundred dollars.

i mean thats a good deal but you can save atleast $1000 for a good grow for example them inline fans can range from $100-a few hundred i just use a regular small fan from walmart that cost $6 you see wat im saying and my grow tent i got from htgsupply.com for $129 so you can save alot do some more research before you purchase that because i spent like $800 on everything and thats including a high tech ballast,cooltube,400watt hps bulb,fox farm light warrior,fox farm ocean forrest some some 5 gallon and shiit like that for my vegging stage i bout a $65 t5 2 tube floro light ...so do some looking around before buying that because you can save money thats a beginner growers mistake..over spending...imma beginner myself and i still think i over spent..lol

Thanks. Yeah Im a total noobe. I did a test run from a seed bank to see if i would actually get them now Im itching to get started (white rhino x5, bubble cheese x5, skywalker x5, kandy kush x2 free sour cream x2 free , . I have a spare bedroom that I want to use I dont want to totally retro fit the room so I think the tents are the best way to go. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Im also curious how to do a stealth vent out of the bedroom window. Thanks again

Yuo dont have to convert the room persay, and a 4x8 tent is huge, 1 hps is just not enough in a tent that size, you would better getting 2 600watts, or even 3 400's for better canopy coverage in a tent that size.

You can always free hang the lights in the room pending the windows and stuff are blacked out and have pretty decent success and much easier cooling issues as well.
