Grow tent ventilation help anyone?

I recently upgraded from my two 150w hps lights to a grow tent setup.. This is my first time doing ventilation but not the first ive seen it should look like. i was wondering if i can pull air starting at the carbon filter, through a 600w mh/hps, and out through the outside of the tent without any problems of overheating of the light or not enough hot air sucked out? im using a 6in inline that pulles 340cfm and will exhaust the air into the attic.

By the way get the speed control and turn the speed down. If I turn mine up to high I smell it where I'm venting to.
