im currently germinating 4 feminised big bang seeds for my 2nd grow, ive already upgraded to HPS from cfls and im thinking about buying a grow tent for maximum control and reflection.

for those of you that have tried these (preferably with a 400w hps) i just wanted to know what you think of them and what size do you think i should go for? (assuming all 4 plants reach harvest after 1 month veg and 2 month flowering)

and any pics of your setup would be very welcome! :D

I have a growtent right now and I like it. I would reccomend a different brand than the HydroHut, there are more complete ones out there. Make sure you get all the flangue peices with it, there are some for the same price that have these included and you really do need em.

For a 400 watt I would say put a 3x3 table in there and get the tent that would fit that. It is just a little bit bigger than 3x3. I would NOT get the 4x4 tent unless you plant on getting a 600watter in there. That is the setup I have and I am loving it!!

:fire:i just bought the 4by 4by 6.5 tent for 95 dollars off ebay. its the budboxx. alot of them there. i cant wait gets here the 9th ill let u know, lol. i have a 400 watt mh/hps. i like u started with cfls and went for bout 3 days like that then had to buy the 400 hid, hehe. this shud make everything a lot cleaner.:eyesmoke: the peeps at the comapany will close the auction for yu early if yu want to buy, i just called.bongsmilie

my tent comes with 4 inch vent holes no flanges but i have 6 inch vent equipment will i need duct reducers or is it really a hole in the tent and 4 is something like a recomended size? i bet not but wondering if i shud head overto home depot for flanges before it gets here:)

4x4x6.5 sounds just like my bigger tent.
and you got it for 95, good deal:).
you'll need duct reducers tho.

they come with theses poles that you hang ya reflector from.
ya light should come with these sliver triangle hooks that you hang the tent from.

You want to get the pullys if you can for your light. They will save you a lot of trouble in the long run. If you are going to put a fan in yours too you will need a bundgie cord or some big zipties, some have a strap but the one I got was way too small. It could hold a 4inch fan but no 6inch.

Here is a pic I was showing some other people of 1 way to set it up and you can see the parts you will need.



You need the flangues, and ductwork, some duct hose clamps,maybe some carabeaners, some chain (or light pullys) and some bungie cords. U will be good to go..
