grow tent

hey guys, i've read a lot on it.. im not trollin and just posting with out reading. Just i have questions cause its my first time yes i've read a lot.. just im moving my grow in doors for now.. going to grow my last season outdoors this year and im prob done with outdoors its a bitter sweet moment cause of legal reasons and the joy of outdoor smoke

any who this is the grow tent i want to use.. im NOT growing a lot just for me so i know i'm not really worried with the fact i can't grow a lot of plants in here. THE MAIN THING IS HEAT MEANING COPS!! I CAN'T HAVE ANYTHING THAT'LL MAKE MY HOUSE GLOW IN ANY WAY SHAPE FORM OR FASHION!! THE STATE IM IN ILL GET 5 YEARS FOR THIS.. MINIMUM.. IM IN THE SOUTH EAST!

I want to veg. with fluorescent lights cause from what i've read you can get a good veg. with'm and they wont use/throw as much heat as a MH. but im not sure which one of these is best... if you don't mind sharin with me...

i've been youtubing this .. i was thinkin about using this for my grow... my question is.. can i grow the plants out fully just in this box? or would i need a bigger hydro system

here are my questions:
1. how many plants can i grow in the two tents i picked
2. what are the odds of gettin caught, yes i know not to tell anyone thats not a problem.. im worried about heat with such a small grow using Fluorecents... and will the HPS light throw way to much heat? or does the grow tent kind of muffle the heat so to speak
3. will that hydro system i put up work.. i have very good strains that i've grown outdoors just its time to try to do this cause the choppers are gettin crazy
4. Is there any links on how to start plants out with lights, i've NEVER EVER used a light in my life
5. i know I need a fan, and a temp gage.. is there anything else that i HAVE to have.. i just want some decent smoke

1: I have a tent similar to the first one. It's small, I wouldn't grow more than 3 plants in it. You should go with the larger tent
2: You can't get busted unless someone smells your grow, someone sees your grow or someone hears your grow or you tell someone about your grow. If you cover all of those areas it is in my opinion basically impossible to get busted.
3: Why would it not work?
4: Germinating a seed is the same, both indoors and out. I like the wet paper towel method. Once the first leaves show the plant will need light just like outdoor.
5: nutrients, ppm meter, pH meter

The difference in light wattage has to do with lumens. The more the better light coverage.

150w - 16,000 lumens
400w - 36-50,000 lumens
600w - 90-95,000

i wouldnt spend that much on a tent tht size il prob get raped for saying this cause alot of people here will have branded tents...but 1 friend bought the secret jardin dr 130 £150 otherfriend bought cheap ebay version£50 theres 1 diff it has silver zips and the jardin has black thats it i aint bullshitting you there identicle

You probably will need an ooscillating fan, possibly a humidifier. If going with hps I would use a cool tube.

thanks bro.. i just didn't know if i could grow the plants out fully with that hydro system.. what fluorescent light would work best for the grow tent you recommended... also how many of those do i need? also which HPS light do i need to flower them out in the medium ? will the 250 work? thanks a million bro

I agree with Brodie oddly. I would construct your own for a fraction of the cost. Pretty simple, Jorge Cervantes has a youtube video that has detail step by step.

I grabbed this one, it is quite a bit cheaper than the tent from htg.

a tents a tent if its the same material its basicly the same its like spending 200 on a pair of nikes or 20 on some reeboks you can walk down the street in both and tbh from my experience the cheap ones go the furthest not in all cases but in this example...if there both mylar and pvc free save yourself some cash in these harsh times

would it be easier for a new guy with me just to grow them in soil to start out with? after a few grows then just grow to the hydro

get yourself a 600w grow light kit off amazon and you in like flint.

lose lips sink ships, keep you grow to yourself and dont exaust hot air out your windows.

will the 600 make my house glow? can i get by with the 400 watt? if not ill just buy the 600 :/ just im terrified of the heat.. do i have to use a exhaust and run it out of the house with a 600?

your going to have to pull air through the cool tube to cool the light, blow it into the attic or the basement, just not out a window...they cant see the inside of your house, they can see hot air blowing out a 2nd floor bedroom window and that raises red flags. or rig it to your dryer vent (thats supposed to have hot air coming out it)

thanks a million bro.. i was plannin on growing in a shop i have outside my house.. one of them metal buildings... smell isn't a problem the nearest house to me is like a mile? im in the country.. the building sets off from my house near all my animals so the smell of them should kind of play off the smell and no one has any business out there any ways so im good to go on that

like since smell isn't a factor for me.. can i just set the carbon filter and fan up and not run it outside at all? just let it openly run into the metal building? or is this a major no? i also have a super old barn.. would that be better than the metal building..

I have a 4 x 4 x 6.5ft tent and use 2 600w Apollo Ballasts and reflectors they work great and you cant beat the price.

I grow with a 400 watt dual MH/HP in a tent close to your size,(just a tad smaller.) I grow 3plants at a time in 5 gallon SmartPots with good results.In other words great bud and about 3 oz each grow.
