yea, i think im just going to stick with the 400 for right now.. im so damn paranoid cause like i said its a 5 year deal if i get caught.. not that i mind pullin the time just gotta be smart about it..

ah right on bro thats a big change for me i normally get a avearage of 5 oz a plant when its oudoors

You can vent into a different room. Pull fresh air from the room the tent is in, and exhaust it into the room next to it.

Your tent should be light tight. So don't worry about a "glow" and the heat will be addressed with the cool tube.

You can buy a solistek digital ballast that has both 400w and 600w settings. It's a great ballast. If the 600 turns into a problem just pick up a 400 bulb. Better then finding out you need a bigger ballast and bigger bulb

I don't suggest growing away from your home. Less security, more chance of being discovered. Think about walking back and forth multiple times a day with random grow equipment or what not. Plus at night when you're sleeping.

thanks bro, that does help a lot, i'm orderin my stuff friday i seen on the website i'm orderin from that lights come with a cooling tube on them all ready... after i get it setup ill let you guys know.. i can't thank you enough!! ill be in touch

well if smell isnt a problem and your just growing in a open area you may not even need the cool tube. just make sure you have good air exchange and you should be gtg. cool tubes are mainly for closets, grow tents and smalled enclosed areas.

If you vent back into the room expect a temp rise of about 5-10 degrees blowing warm air back inside.

As far as the "heat" (cops) go, you would need to be running about 10k+ watts all of a sudden for them to flag you for electrical usage spike.

Who said anything about venting back into the room the tent is in? Don't confuse him. I already told him to run his exhaust to another room.
