Need some advice about grow tents and if there worth the money.
Thank you. What would you recommend if on a budgetDepends are your situation really people use them because they don't want too or can't put holes in the walls for ducting, hanging lights, etc. Easier to control the temp/humidity,easy to break down if you have to go. Plenty more reasons to go with a tent I used sun hut and then I got a gorilla tent which is way better not one light leak ,lesson learned is to not go cheap when it comes to the tent plus the cheap ones have material known to be toxic to plants. Im looking into getting another tent side by side so I can do a harvest every 4 weeks!!
try the gorilla tent LITE line same good material and its cheaper It just doesn't have the inferred block at the top and doesn't come with the extension i believe honestly would justThank you. What would you recommend if on a budget
even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile.I went cheap, and haven't regeated it yet. I got an 3' X 3' X 6.5', 9 cu ft off google, the tent was $75.00. The Light and ballast was $104.00, and the fans cost about $8.00 each from walmart. 250 Watt MH-HPS and 4 4" fans with tons of light leaks when lights or on. None when they are off. I am on my second grow, and so far every thing is working just fine. I pull 6 oz of Critical Mass the first grow, and am in my second grow NLH in first week of flowering. I added 9 CFL's for this grow, and will change them to LED'S when I get some cash. Sometimes things work, and some times they don't. That is why they give you warinets. good luck and happy growing
Yes, I know what you mean, I had a really expensive 4x4x7 and a 5x5x7.5 tent with an expensive 400 watt MH-HPS, but the police stole it after two years of use. So I didn't see any since in doing that again, you never know when they are going to come by. They always show up un in vitided.even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile.
Sometimes the work isn't warranted, if he has money and doesn't want to build a room. However he didn't really ask a question eithera few pcs of pvc, some insulation board, you can built your own tent for cheaper. might need a few metal fence posts to support a light.

im kinda confused with this statement? If you don't have much light on around the outside of the tent then you should be good, but he just proved that the cheap ones have light leaks my sun hut tent I had to tape up the light leaks and with the the Gorilla tent haven't used any. Again its all in your situation and I wouldn't build your own unless your good at building things, just buy a good tent because the last thing you want is your lights crashing down on your plants!!with tons of light leaks when lights or on. Well, I am confused now, why would my lights come crashing down? You can make you a really good grow box out of 4'x8' plywood, very little expense.im kinda confused with this statement? I assumed making a tent would be from PVC and poly panda paper ,using plywood would obviously be sturdy enough to hold up lights."Grow box" and "grow tent" are 2 different subjectsWell, I am confused now, why would my lights come crashing down? No, I think you would use some kind of metal. Never heard of some one use PVC that sounds sort of silly lol. My tent even though it was cheap, is made of tin, and not PVC. I don't think those lights would hold on to PVC, because it has a tendency to ben.I assumed making a tent would be from PVC and poly panda paper ,using plywood would obviously be sturdy enough to hold up lights."Grow box" and "grow tent" are 2 different subjects
I was just looking at a Jardin 48"x"48"78" for $139.00 free shipping and Aluminum Frame. That looks much better than any frame I have seen. It also has a new reflector than the other tents. They must have added more silver to it. Thanks for the heads up.I was lusting for gorilla or gorilla lite, but I went with Secret Jardin DarkRoom 2.5 (the 2.5 revision is much better than 2) and saved a lot over the gorilla. Secret Jardin was the best before Gorilla came out, and even though they are considered a premium tent, it's fistfulls of money cheaper than gorilla.
