grow tents

Hey guys starting a new grow an looking for a tent. Just got done with a grow in my spair closet. Have a 400 watt mh an hps. I'm still a noob at indoor so need a little help on what intake an exhaust fans if exhaust is needed. Also looking into air coold hood and greenhouse controler.

well once you figure out the size of tent you can figure out how much cfm you will need ... i use 2 fans in my tent .. 1 to cool the light and one for the filter ..

I'm thinking a 4x4 or a 5x5. How good are the ebay tents. Don't want to spend 500 on the tent. Found a site that sells them on ebay an aseperate site. Growtents.com

i use a secret jardin .. great reviews and im happy with it .. no light leaks ... sturdy zips and lots of vents ..

I got another Question : i have a florabloom 15w 150w equivalent flowering LED and a Vigorous Veg 13w 150w equivalent LED... First question is While flowering only on the Florabloom LED till 1 week untill its done can i change the light to full spectrum on it by putting both the LED's in? And other question is by putting both those lights together does that equal a 300w led?

look on ebay for a "homebox" tent and pick the size depending on the space. I know some of the tents on ebay aren't good for growing because the white reflectant on the insides release some sort of chemical that hurt the plants. is your hps light ventable? if so a 273cmf inline fan would be perfect.

I went into a grow store yesterday and they had Secret Jardins there. Awesome tents. They're really high quality, very nice linings and every venting, duct, and electrical holes already there that you will ever need. Intake on the bottom, outtake up top, extra holes for light heat exhaust, holes in the back for electrical, etc. I know they're not cheap, but if you can shop around you can get them for a great price. THIS PLACE has them for $223 and no shipping, no tax.

I got my secret jardin dr120 for 230 on amazon shipped. Its 4x4. It came with a tiny tear and I got to choose 50 off or get another one and wait and undo my setup. So I took the 50 off. So paid 180 for it altogether. I love it. Get a cooltube with a parabola batwing reflector

Make sure you get a tent that has more then 1 entry point otherwise it will be hard to make adjustments inside.

I have 3 ebay tents and they are all great. well worth the money.

For a 400w you probably don't want larger than a 3x3. I would recommend getting a larger fan then necessary and turning it down via a fan speed controller - will be alot less noisy.
