Hey folks, my first week of my first grow and despite a couple of problems, would like your thoughts on how my seedlings look...
Ok, one of the three is in a state, but the seed refused to pop off after germination, so I'm leaving this "sprout," (I don't know what to call it, a state maybe?) in until it dies. I want to learn so I don't see any gains from just taking it out.
The other sprout in the small cube held up higher was a seed I thought i had myself damaged during germination, taken a little longer but it seemed to recover ok (or ok in my book) so I'm propping it up higher on the "state," so it gets good CFL light.
The seedling in the large cube is small, but despite this there was root coming out the bottom so I placed into the large grodan cube, which was soaked for a good 24 hours in about 4 litres with 2ml of Ionic growth nutrient.
I know these plants are hardly "textbook," by any means, but i'd appreciate comment and advice all the same.
CFL is 125 watt, about 3 inches off the top of the plants (tested for heat with back of my hand seems just fine).
Cheers!
