From experience you need to put the airstone in a bucket and use a submersible pump to infuse the water with the O3. Then spray your plants with it. Since it is just oxygen with an extra electron that binds to any unstable element it does no harm to the plants at all. You can find a vegetable washing O3 generator on Amazon with airstone.

Sounds like snake oil to me.
If I read the descriptions of these machines it is a miracle machine. It kills bacteria, viruses, mildew.... but I never saw one used in a commercial greenhouse. These growers spend fortunes to prevent diseases in any form to reach their greenhouses, and even larger fortunes to battle and destroy them. But never saw them wash their leaves with water with O3... reason probably because it doesn't work.

Well I can't help you then if you are just ignorant to science. I have three of these machines. 1 produces 1gram per hour of O3. The other produces 10grams per hour of O3. ...the other one washes my veggies. The 1 gram machine can completely remove the sweat from a mattress which is what I use it for since my GF sweats like a mofo...

The 10 gram per hour machine will kill you if you use it in the same space as you as it will oxidize your lungs out of you. So it really matters not if you believe it or not you will still die.

When you go into a casino and the air smells so fresh and free of toxins, it is because it is especially calibrated to have a certain high level of O3 to make you feel good. Most greenhouses growing weed have no idea what they are doing anyways.

I know a lot of things that ozone generators can do. Even had one myself just behind my filter and before the air leaves the building. That works. I also know that ozone is used to sterilize equipment and such.

But washing leaves with water with ozone sounds like snake oil to me.
If this would work, why don't professional growers (I mean the ones that have hundreds of acres of greenhouses filled with tomatoes, flowers, plants, whatever) use it? They have to combat a lot of the same diseases like we have. And if it could be done with such a simple and cheap device, they would be the first ones to use it. I also can not find any scientific paper where ozon is used for washing leaves. Plenty of papers about water treatment technology, and then mainly for treating the water before it can be flushed in the sewage.

No, I am not. Ozon can be used for a lot of things. Odor, killing molds, cleaning water, sterilizing.
So that's why I asked you for what it works great, because there are so many options.
 
I use the ozone for my holding tank,which holds r/o water for mixing my nutrients..I only use it in the warmer months when the water can’t hold oxygen..

I see.

As I saw in some post you grow on cocos or soil. Why would you want your res to hold oxygen?
Also the moment you start filling up your res, and also when you start pumping the water in your res to your pots or trays, the water will hold maxium DO anyway.
So I am trying to figure out what is the big benefit of the Ozone machine? For adding more DO? Or killing diseases?

Mostly wondering whether I should look for an auto seed or if a photo would be fine and also when I should be looking to start it(indoors)?
I live in Alberta so not a great season, I know.

It does both. Maintaining ORP values > 780 mV does both.

start your plant NOW and have it at around 3 feet when you put it outside.
Put it in the ground or in a 3oo liter container or larger. with amended soil.
Ground is FAR better. With added amended soil of course.
Make a hoop house for the end of August and have your plant budding and finished by the end of Sept Under a small green house.
SHootin at 4 pounds if done right,

I will second what GB123 said and add ..you should look for a strain that will work well for the shorter growing season....
something that finishes up in the 2nd week or 3rd week of sept.
The early start that GB123 mentions, will fill in the vegging gap and allow for a huge plant, by the time you finish.
Clones have a tendency to out grow natural seed plants, so using a clone will allow you to grow one of the monster bushes you see,on line a lot.
Beware they can be a lot of work come harvest...but if your only dealing with one or two...then should be more fun than work.

Central AB here where you need to go with autos unless you want to deal with light deprivation. Our flowering cycle doesn't start naturally until end of August/beginning of September and a month later the snows are here so the plants have no chance to finish. Even this year we had a ton of rain which meant a lot of mould even with autos. My recommendation would be to grow 4 autos in 5 gallon smart pots so you can bring them in barring any bad weather. Get a good organic soil mix that you don't have to do much more than feed some epsom salts and maybe some beneficial compost tea to.
 
A temp green house in order to get budding going before their time is Key...
Having a temp enclosure helps finish everything " dry" as well. which is another key point .. 3rd week in august is when we see budding normally this far south with reg plants..
Nothing wrong with 4 autos done mid summer as well.. as 4 regs..
after all who is counting anyway?
LP's grow and sell ILLEGAL TRASH since they started and always will! Only a few have been caught so far.:idea:
Cash crops are cash crops after all eh ;)
