According to the ChilLED Growcraft webpage the plug and play models have a 3 year limited warranty. The Growcraft DIY kits are sold with no warranty (as I think you know).
That shit is such a joke! do you see the pricing for the non DIY lights!? 1600$ for the 1k watt, they are smoking something, and it aint weed. That is more expensive than Fluence or Gavita.

@Chilledgrowlights

I have tried a few different ways to get in touch with you guys. With the last interaction not going so well. you guys told me that chilled are not for my 'commercial' setup. I have since gotten a few other LED fixtures to test. And would still consider getting 10 more growcraft fixtures. But you need to help me out.... PLEASE tell me how i can hook up these lights with a RJ12 connection to be able to control all of the light on/off times. This is such a basic feature... I know there must be some way!
Hi @Snob

You added in this thread that you found a post that explains how to connect a Mean Well via RJ12 to a Trolmaster. Do you mind sharing that link? I found this one here and it explains that you need a driver with dim-to-off capabilities. The 2 HLG-480H-48B drivers that power your light has a dimming range of 5%-100%. You are welcome to try a different driver that offers that dimming range as long as it is a constant voltage driver that supplies 48V. Since we do not offer a driver with these specs we cannot offer support on connecting them to a Trolmaster.

It was never our intention to tell you off, but we don't always have the answers that people are looking for so I can see where that got misconstrued. We frequently receive emails inquiring about a controller unit for the Growcraft. While there currently is none available we are continuing our development and plan to have a solution to this problem by the end of the year.

Hey Dallas, for the HLG-480H series under features dim-to-off (0-10VDC) is listed as a function.

Mean Well HLG "B" and "AB" drivers 320 watts and up have this function, whereas 240 watt drivers and under support 1-10VDC dimming.

just under 2 weeks from cutting down. plants look pretty good.

a huge difference i’ve noticed running this strain under a LED vs HID is the crystal production. Where is the ice on these under the growcraft!?
Thanks for sharing the grow with us.
Did you run the same pheno from cuttings in different lighting setups or is it different phenos from the same strain?

Hell of a harvest otherwise @Snob congratulations I would like to see you get more lights from @Chilledgrowlights when they are able to have controller and uv etc I’m on small scale med grow so I’m not at that point but for someone like u and commercial spaces I see why it’s needed god bless

This is Rabbid Hippies cut of kush mints. Same pheno, first time under LED's. I dont want to make too many comparisons, since this was done in a tent which did not exactly have a perfect stable environment and didnt get high levels of co2. The next run will be in real rooms.

Thanks for pointing this out @Barristan Whitebeard. I did include an error in my last response and mistakenly was referencing our dimmer pots which do operate at 1-10V. Our team helped me with some research pertaining to using these Mean Well 480H-48B drivers with a Trolmaster.

You can take a look at section 4 of this PDF from Trolmaster under Light Connections (b) For Traditional Lights.

You can contact Trolmaster to acquire their light control adapter and then wire your RJ12s from the adapter to the dimmer leads from the driver.

I hope this is the solution you were looking for @Snob

Personally i dont trust the dim-function for on/off switching but it may be prejudice; id prefer something that cuts power completely. I do believe trolmaster have relay modules aswell.

However I believe theres an external on/off function on the hlg600 but youd have to ask meanwell aboout it.
Edit: especially in a comercial setting! One driver connection goes wrong or a little sttatic voltage in one wire and you have light in the dark cycle.

I was able to find a post about hooking up the meanwells to a Trolmaster here on this forum. When i had repeatedly asked Chilled about this directly, going to them for advise, since they made the light. They basically just told me to fuck off, saying its impossible.

What I find really funny, is in my emails to them they tell me "It is clear that nothing from our current product line will work with your commercial sized operation"... I am in a basement!!! And, if their product line up does not work for a 'commercial' application, WHY THE F are they looking for commercial growers on their website?!

I was such a fan of these guys, they were doing some really cool stuff in the past. But it seems like the growtech is just a leap backwards, and just a setup for a future money grab, offering "add-on" components.
Agreed. Next yr the better model will be out. Everyone is buying the inexpensive to make HE spectrum for this last yr. Had to take advantage of it now id imagine. But i cant speak for them. Its a bad-ass fixture tho.

@chilled, rather then erasing my posts (if you did) how about taking me seriously. ?
Offer still stands. Unbiased, even parameter, no excuse SBS.
You seen that bash fest on you. How dare you flash test n post, if so. They may not understand too that extra 660 makes for higher efficiency #'s. I dunno. Eitherway. Austin, the offer still stands. Next run will be the SBS. I know how to conduct it dead nuts evenly. Already offered up my terms & conditions. There are none basically. Just tell me if you want the unit back, pay it forward Or the option to purchase. Im the guy to settle this unless your just gonna let that shit fly. In that case, your corner will get taken from the bigger Dealers. N youll have been punked. You know this already tho I'd hope. Hustle 101 brother. Lmk man. Idk why u did not jump on this 1.5 month ago when I offered?.. Yes, I've e-mailed you. All those details u asked are not necessary. Can explain if u need but trust me we want anonymity. Just send it & have faith. You'll see.

Looking killer! A good light can really show how good a grower truly is.

Happy to see our lights getting put to work :)

Feel free to reach out to us with any feedback, questions and/or concerns!

My concern is a fair SBS. You've been put on the spot by the GML show & HLG.
Send me the 660w n lets get brawling.
Been long enough. Handle that Big Dawg.
What a light can produce dictates its effectiveness & efficiency in the garden. The only place that matters. Spheres are for Nanu-Nanu aliens that came to earth in the 80's. Plants are my spheres & a MQ-620 Is my earth weapon.
Cracked 2 gpw last run on 5/8 -3/4 of a damn pheno hunt. Pretty sure i can ShowCase your light. Aint my first rodeo bro.

Whats up, we Got Dallas now, Austin on something else?

Received my Growcraft x6 1000w DIY kit yesterday and got it put together and up in my tent tonight. Said goodbye to my last HPS, used to have 3k in HPS and now I have 3k in LED's. Can't wait to see how this light does, got it put up at the end of week two of 12/12 so next run will be it from veg to flower. Big thanks to Austin @Chilledgrowlights for the help and always getting back to me right away, excellent customer service.View attachment 462670820200716_230709.jpg20200717_001559.jpg20200716_190859.jpg
