Grower looking for Oregon Diesel Clones

A) Bad petert for not cloning the plant!!! (always take at least one clone of each different girl, you never know when one will be amazing!)
B) the "oregon strainbank" up in salem has what I think became known as the oregon diesel (oregon g-13 x sour diesel) google emarijuanaclones and let us know if they're for real.
and
C) If TGA doesn't trip your trigger (they don't do mail order so they didn't trip mine) and if you're willing to go non feminized beans, check out oregon green seeds, their gear is top notch. EDIT: looks like they're off breeding so orders are shut down until june, and considering the whole, it's mid/late may thing. odds are you really only want a clone anyways....

I'm doing a few different OGS stuff and if you look they give credit to Dr. Greenthumb, and that guy has what is possibly Oregon Diesel, amongst many other early finishers. Little pricey but seems legit.

Yup, he has been around a long time. Some people really don't like him personally, apparently he's old and grumpy. But many have reported fantastic results from his seeds. Some are better than others. Like Endless Sky for example he has been remaking from scratch as he lost he original parents. It's not up to it's past history from the reports I've seen, although I think Gruber is doing a journal on it currently so we'll see.
A lot of folks swear by his OG and Bubba S1's as well his some of his hybrids.
My opinion is that his prices are very high. Too high for my tastes. But people who love him love him a lot. It's your cash. If you find an incredible plant it will be worth it and even if you don't you know how it goes... hard to lose money growing this plant.
But yeah, he's got a good solid reputation as far as people getting their seeds etc. Most people don't regret growing his gear AFAIK. I grew out his Iranian x Haze and Iranian x OG. Interesting plants, not super great IMO. But on the flip side, they are quite unstable. ANd a friend of mine found a really nice Iranian x Haze that he liked a lot. So as with any seed line some hunting is required.
My other issue is with certain lines he only provides 3 seeds. That is not enough with a cannabis plant IMO. I feel like breeders should sell packs in a way that ensures whoever buys them gets a winner from the line. A good cross will typically see about 1/2 - 1/4 good plants with quite a bit fewer being truly great. A great cross will provide mostly winners. It is all relative.
My apologies for the long winded response but I'm buzzing hard on strong socially stimulating drugs at the moment.

youre right 3 seeds max is low. i guess he wants to prevent a lot of mass production what do you think?
most of these old guys are grumpy theyre worn from all the years of messing around with plants. im not sure they enjoy it after some time. most of the older growers i know are hardly in a good mode.

@OGEvilgenius do you live in oregon, im looking for a good source of marijuana clones? i want to find a private grower not a shop, theyre a pain in the ass and they just end up buying from a grower. dont wanna pay shop tax.

Different country I'm afraid. He only sells 3 seeds for a few of his more popular lines, like the Bubba and OG S1's and also G13. He has 10 I think in most of his others. Or 5. He lists it.

get on craigslist, otherwise suck it up and find a business that you like and support them. It's work/trust either way.

lol no craigslist is sketchy, those people dont even like using the phone theyre worried everyone is a pig and they think theyre apart of the cia using walmart phones. i want to find a grower and build a relationship with them. i will suck it up and do that still bc that's my end goal. anyone can go to craigslist and buy yellow plants in red cups. dont need that anymore.

well meeting and trusting someone new is always sketchy for you and them. I buy seeds and find my own keepers. Your posts sound a little like you're fishing for someone here to set you up, and that seems a little sketchy 
. Not trying to be a dick. Just saying take the time and do the work, or else support someone that does. Many quality people aren't advertising or care to hook someone up that they don't know.

In the time it takes to find a grower (not sure how you'd sort through them all), and then build a relationship in which they trust you, you could have ordered seeds and found a keeper that no one else has. I only give out cuttings to my friends and then it's only the ones I decided didn't make the cut. In other words, because it's so much work and because so many people are growing, I don't want to be competing with myself so to speak. I share knowledge though, what you do with it is your business.

yes i agree it does, im willing to do the work and have been, that's why im on a free forum using my valuable time. if you only give cuttings to friends, that means youre not in the business of genetics. youre in the business of selling herb or just not in the business, which is cool too. i wish i only had to grow a personal grow for my personal use. i simply dont want to use craigslist and basically that's the first and easiest place to look.
i figured doing research on forums and talking to people was a good start. im not sure why growers think theyre participating outside the grid or theyre apart of the cia. i dont get all the text and vm games.
