How often do you smoke?

Curious, is there really such thing? Has to be as rare as a vegetarian butcher. I'd be impressed if someone could put all the time and money into growing and still resist trying the product.
Personally, I smoke very little only when I can't sleep which is pretty rare so I am by no means a regular smoker. For those of you who don't, what do you do with your product? Sell? Donate it to those who need it as medicine? Gift wrap them as Christmas presents for the whole family?

I haven't smoked anything in two years. I drive a truck for a living and I have to take a lot of drug tests with no notice. Pays too much to take a chance. I grow for my wife ( Colorado medical patient ) and other family members. I enjoy growing very much but I NEVER sample my crops.

Impressive sir, you actually inspired me to create this thread when I saw you post elsewhere. I deal with drivers a lot with my job and I must admit you guys have no easy job, especially the ones that drive from coast to coast, really appreciate what you guys do.

I quit smoking some time in the last 2 years. The most I might do is take one hit of some new strain to see what it tastes like. I dunno, I'm an old guy and it just doesnt hit me the right way anymore, it gives me a strange feeling that I dont like if I take any more than a hit or 2.
But I love growing it. I never knew how much I would like growing and watching the stuff go from a little seedling to nice frosty nugs. I could stare at a nice well grown plant all day long.
But no real desire to smoke it anymore. I hope someday that feeling I had when I enjoyed it for nearly 30 years comes back.

I hope that feeling comes back for you too, maybe you'll stumble upon that magical strain one of these grows to get you back there. At least you still get that wonderful feeling that I'm sure we all get while growing these majestic plants

I don't smoke my product, but maybe once per month. I do use an edible at bedtime every day though. My girlfriend is the only smoker in my house. I grow for her and the love of growing only :)

its people like you that give "the drug"cannabis a good name.
places where its illegal should listen to the truth and not the myths.........smoke cannabis and your brain will fall out of your ears.......rubbish.

respect for those who live like the first reply.....crazy but lots of respect

I smoke about 2 times a month I also eat 1 edible a week it's great for numbness. I love this plant. I give most of the stuff I grow away.

I grow plants as a hobby. I will grow 2 plants then give it to friends and family to try. Then when its gone. I will start 2 new plants but it will be a different strain each time.

My situation is (strangely) similar to dadios, but I sure can appreciate a good grow... And it keeps the wife happy!

I haven't smoked any bud from my last 2 harvest except a joint from each different stain that I grew. I'm on supervised probation that means probation but its a .01% chance I will get tested. I don't get high on my own supply either as I'm a caregiver and I want to always make sure I have more than enough medicine on hand. Plus I just enjoy growing and messing with soil

Always interesting to hear why people grow, thanks for sharing everyone.

Honestly, for me it originally started because I had too much time on my hand, now I simply do it because I love it. I'd really love to eventually become a caregiver but first I would need to know a patient that would have to initiate that registration proccess and then I'd also need to set up a grow that was a little more legitimate than one plant in a cabinet under CFLs. For now it's nice to have a small op that produces enough for me to never need to buy weed again and to use as gifts for this holiday season lol

I know the feeling, man. I stopped for a few months so I could get a new job and test clean, and after I started smoking again, it gave me awful anxiety, like there was a giant pit in my stomach, and it made me sweat and my heart beat fast... Went on for a long time. But somehow, I ended up getting back to normal after a long time. Hopefully things turn back around for ya!
