Maybe the thread`s regulars will have some ideas when they log in and stop by :) or who knows, maybe even someone else could help :O lol well let`s just hope they all break ground for now :)

I`ll probably hermiate one of the girls for seeds if all 4 sprout and sprout girls.

Now that i think about it... can males go hermie as well? I assume they don`t, can`t hurt to ask though

OMFG! Did i...... did i see..... did i see four seeds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hell yeah thats what the fucks up... i would think at least veg for 1 or 2 weeks for seedling stage even if you are going straight 12/12 most people do at least one week. GL ill be watching this crazy ass grow for sure hell been around now what 2 months grats man on getting this party started!

Q. if your room mate moves out do you get another one that you dont know? if so man i dont know maybe shouldnt go down till you get a place dont get me wrong do what you have to do but if he moves out and you get a new roomie could be more risk then originally planed

oh, the hairy fucker`s eyes are glimmering all over again with daydreams of money piles and weekends with sluts eating them all up, no way he`s moving out now. Chewbacca`s staying for the long run ;)

Yes, a male plant can turn hermie. It will actually turn out a flower. Most of the time it is sterile and cannot be pollenated. VERY rare can ones pollen impregnate its self. Those hermies are considered GOLD to some breeders.

As for 12/12 from seed nutes. I have always used my Jacks Classic 20-20-20 for about 3-4 weeks. I switched to my Jacks 10-30-20 about 2 weeks after budding formation starts. I also always start with 1/4-1/2-3/4-full strength. Lemme think about ur NPKs for a min. Ill b back

Oh i think i`m gonna stick to this thread :) it`s gone through so many haters and ill wishers, i don`t want to deal with any new ones :) Plus, i`ve become quite fond of it by now :mrgreen:

Thanks for the good wishes FireCoral and prebs. It`s day 2, half past noon, still waiting for them to sprout.

I have found some fertilizer, most of it very mild. Best i could find was a 20-5-10. Would that be any good? Thoughts...?

yea be careful with that. The first number, nitrogen, is the dangerous one. It is what will burn your plants to hell, especially when they are young. The second two numbers, phosphorous and potassium, are very hard to overdose your plant on. You might end up with a situation where you get too much N before you get enough P and K. If you use that just be super careful and don't use it for the first two weeks (plain water only).

I`ll be careful. I found a place that sells molasses, but they`re out of stock. and the owner said they won`t be restocking untill march-ish. That should be allright though, i`ll use veg nutes for the first 2-3 weeks so the girls can stock up on N, which means ~40 days, enough time for the owner to restock on molasses. Should do alright

Great thread man. I think you are gonna succeed aganist all odds. careful with the nutes though. I would advise aganist giving them any nutes before 2-3 weeks.
Also before going for 12/12 make sure your cabinet is 100% lightproof. Otherwise your plants will have trouble blooming. for that purpose you may use window isolation tapes around edges of the doors.

thanks guys for the good wishes :) thanks to kapo as well but do pay attention mate. Had you read just the earlier post where i said i`ll be giving them veg nutes for the first 2-3 weeks, ending at day 40, you`d have realised i`m going to start giving them nutes at around day 20.

As for the girls, none have sprouted yet, still waiting. I became impatient last night, took a pair of small scissors and dug 2 of them up to have a look (don`t yell, i know i shouldn`t have). One of them didn`t look like she was doing much for herself, it only looked ever so slightly larger. The other one though was clearly germinating :) there was a tiny tiny tiny white leg coming out the top, so she`ll probably be allright :)

I`m using peat moss pellets from nirvana --> http://germinationkit.com/

Keepin all 4 expanded pellets in a closed caserole in a drawer, with some water on the bottom of the container


TBH, seeing the slow progress of the germing, i`m considering using the paper towel method and see if i get better results, but i`m a bit afraid of stressing them out too much :/

i did the paper towle method the first time worked fine let the white tails get a 1/4 inch and everything but tried a different method this time worked FAST. put them in a glass jar for 24hours none of them cracked open or nothing put them in their pots pushed dirt over the top and put them under lights 3 days later 4 out of 6 broke soil and 2 days later 5 and 3 days after that 6 might give it a try got the idea from riddleme
